This is solely based on their whole bean coffee - I haven’t ordered any of their drinks, which I’m sure are good. I grabbed a bag of their “Eye Opener” blend, and was underwhelmed. Wasn’t particularly smooth or flavorful. I suspect it has been sitting on the shelf for quite a while, and wasn’t very fresh. I was admittedly suspicious from the outset when none of the bags had a “roast date” and there was no mention as to what kind of actual beans were used for the various blends. I bought whole bean coffee, ground beans just before brewing, and played with grind settings, but couldn’t get it to a place where I’d be happier with it. There are some really great roasters popping up locally, which is fantastic… hopefully this place becomes one of them eventually.

Amazing drinks made to order. But this is no Starbucks people! This place has a modern and slightly spicy flavor in its decor. It's hip and young and lively even with just a few customers inside. They are definitely unique and complex but simple in their own way. Check them out! I got the frap with hazelnut and it was amazing! Like no other I've tried.

This place is so cute. But that’s about it. The coffee tastes like watery sugar milk. I’ve stopped there in the morning on my way to work a few times and the baristas never move with a sense of urgency, which considering most people are stopping on the way to work, you think they would. There’s never any music playing, it’s so quiet in there it’s almost awkward. Also, very expensive.. I got a medium coffee and a breakfast sand which and it was $17.

First off, this is a really cute spot to get work done. It definitely has a nice vibe if that’s what you’re looking for…But that’s where is stops. I’ve been coming here lately just because it’s close by but the coffee has been horrible each and every time. Keep in mind that each drink will run you a minimum of $6/7. I can’t justify spending that much on horrible tasting coffee. I have been here maybe 7 times, I’ve tried something new each time, asked for suggestions from the staff and each time it’s this bland syrupy mess. Even my vanilla cappuccino was a no go. I’ve actually never finished a drink from Sweetz. Cute coffee shop with not so good coffee.

Great menu with lots of options. Love the variety. Lots of local vendors selling products which is nice. Great atmosphere for relaxing, meeting friends or getting some work done. This is my favorite East Valley Coffee spot. The cold brew is excellent. They allow dogs and love them, in fact Jill (in the picture) gets a pup cup every time she comes in. The staff is super friendly, the place is clean and well decorated. I like the music and the noise level is less than Starbucks so it is comfortable to work there. They even sell alcohol there which is awesome when I want to pick up a few brews. Expect to pay about $6-10 per person. Highly recommended.

Hands down favorite coffee shop EVER! I drink cold brew EVERYday and yes, I’ll be the first to admit I was a Starbucks drinker before I found Sweetz. The cold brew at Sweetz is noticeably smoother and better and the flavor options they have to add in are incredible and so unique compared to anywhere else I’ve been. The vibe at the shop is maybe even better than the coffee itself! So much better than waking into a regular boring coffee shop, here they have local artists all over the walls and the vibe is so bright and fun. You just wanna hang out there! The employee are all so kind and helpful when picking out new flavors. My personal favorites are the Dirty Blonde and Snickerdoodle, and I love how the coffee isn’t too sweet. You can actually taste the cold brew! Love this place and the people- I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Great coffee /cold brew /Nitro selection! Very unique place lots of Pink, Golds and all the glitter you could want! There's some great merchandise right off the register. I had to go three stars because they weren't the friendliest staff, I feel like they were belittling because I didn't understand the order process, which is pretty complicated with their amount of options and it was my first time...I'll be back for a second attempt

Delicious LOCAL AZ coffee!! With glitz, glam, unicorns, and absolutely addictive coffee, this fantastic spot will stimulate all of your senses in the happiest ways. Choose a place to park it with your laptop, a great book, or a friend: pink, sparkly, faux leather bar stool or velvet wing back chair? Natural lighting or bask under a crystal chandelier? Want crumb cake Nitro cold brew? From the decor, to the sweet treats, to the huge variety of uniquely flavored cold brews, this place will energize the colorful and creative spirit. These local owners support other local business owners as well (local artist work on the walls is for sale!), giving back to AZ in a big way. For unapologetic personality, bold flavor, and mindful experience, check out this super sweetz coffee bar. Downsides: it's a little expensive, and prob not everyone will dig the decor. But if this is your jam-- and you'd rather your $5 for 24oz go to Arizona instead of Seattle-- I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
