I walk in on a Friday to pick up a large order of baseboards and trim. Im there about 4pm and store hours says they close at 5pm. Im waiting for the old man to finish talking to a customer. I hear them talking about stuff not related to business. Made me wait 15min hearing that nonsense only to tell me they have no one to pull inventory from the back. WHY ARE YOU EVEN OPEN THEN???. I ended up going to Discount door and trim next door at the corner. They actually had workers working. I should have read the reviews before even going to this place.

Absolutely the worst customer service! I ordered corners for my baseboards and unfortunately not all of them worked due to my builder pulling some tricks. I called the store to see if I could return the ones I couldn't use. Tobin answered and we discussed my situation. He did not give me a straight answer on whether they would do anything but did tell me to come in to the store to talk about it. I explained to him that I did not live close to the store and asked if he would be at the store. He said he was heading out on a delivery so I asked if there was someone else I could talk too. Tobin stated that because it was Friday, there may or may not be someone at the store but I could try. I headed straight to the store and there was a gentleman there who I explained my situation too. He said he needed to ask Tobin (who wasn't supposed to be there) and he came back and said they would not help me. Why would you make someone drive across town if you knew you weren't going to help? These were not custom pieces. Unbelievable....I will never do business nor recommend this place to anyone! Buyer beware!

We were recommended to try this store out from a friend and we're so thankful we did. We worked with Tobin, who could not have been any friendlier and helpful than he was. What a pleasure of an experience. I'll be recommending this store & Tobin to anyone that ever needs trim or doors on their homes in the future!! Great job!!!

Good product quality. I have used their baseboard, casing and interior doors on most of my jobs and with no call backs. I also used them on my own home remodel and love the outcome. Recommend this business

Spoke with a sales person over the phone a couple times about needing a specific base profile which they were currently out of stock of. Had to call 3 times over a week and a half due to his lack of follow up and each time he assured me he would let me know when it was in. I finally went in to the store to speak with him directly and he had none of my information stored. He acknowledged our conversations, but didn't know which base I was looking for and didn't have my number stored. I asked him if he saw any problem with his customer service at which point instead of apologizing he told me to get out of the store. I refused and told him to get me a manager, he said he was the manager and I responded that there was no chance he was the manager. Finally after he had yelled loud enough at me to get out of the store someone else came out to see what was going on and sent him to the back to cool off. The new person was nice enough but still not very helpful. One of the most hilariously bad experiences I have ever had with a sales person. This has been a while ago and hopefully he has either significantly improved or left the company but I haven't bothered returning to find out one way or another.

Like several other reviewers, I ordered a French door from this shop only to find that it was not made to the correct measurements. In our case, we had to have a third party deliver the door all the way to prescott for $250. I called Corey at door and trim and told him about the doors being the incorrect size. His reply, over and over, was that the production guys "felt they had made it right.". They hadn't, no matter how they "felt". Door and Trim would not offer a credit, a replacement, or any other concessions for their error. Corey even said he would get back to me by the end of the day, and never even bothered. My wife and I have purchased thousands of dollars in merchandise from this store over many years, but to door and trim, we were not worth the effort to keep as customers. We won't spend another dime there. In all fairness, I will say that we never had a problem before this. That being said, we never tried ordering a custom door from them before either. I should have read the reviews first, because it seems like they do everything well except make doors to spec. Update: I was contacted by the owner, who was not previously aware of the issue with our door. He was very nice, very professional, and completely understanding of the situation. He did give us a credit on the door, and I believe that if he had known what was going good on at the time of the problem, it wouldn't have been a problem at all. I have to say, my faith in this shop is restored.

These people need to advertise more because they are great. Down to earth, give you their best price up front, no need to wheel and deal. They have the baseboards I needed. They get better doors and cheaper than Home Depot - and faster too! They have great door hardware that I got at a much better price than Home Depot too. If I need trim, doors, or hardware, I will always go to these guys.

If it were not for Jeannie, the receptionist, I would have no redeeming words for this company. She was absolutely terrific and acted very professionally. The rest of the crew needs to work on their people skills. We refused to allow them to do work in our house because of attitudes. They wanted to start work at 6:30 in the morning and got pissed off when I refuse to allow them in the house at that hour. We have a family! They can start at 8:00 like everybody else.

I stumbled across The Door and Trim Store, and glad I did. I've found trim I needed to match for one job, glass door inserts for another and doors made/repaired for other projects. All better priced than Lowes or Depot. I always get great customer service from the staff, in store or on the phone. Jeanie is a pleasure to work with and goes above to get what you need. We are investors and have worked with the Door and Trim Store on at least four projects. Their prices are great and they consistently do good work. We did have a problem once, but they stepped up and took care of it which is all you can ask. I would recommend them.
