5 Best hardware store in Mesa, Arizona (AZ) 2024

I visited this particular store because I needed to return a defective product that I'd purchased at a different location. The staff at this store was fantastic! Debbie, in customer returns, speedily handled my transaction with a smile! She even gave me some great product recommendations. Bob, in millwork, also delivered superb customer service, as he thoroughly accommodated my request to make sure my replacement product was not defective as the first was. It turned out that together we discovered there was a manufacturing error in the whole batch of the product I needed and Bob got on the phone and spoke with the manufacturer directly. It didn't resolve my getting the product in hand during that visit, but what an awesome team member he is to take my concern directly to the top, and probably save other customers the same difficulty I had. Flooring section was super helpful. Cabinet and counter section acted like we were bothering them and asking stupid questions. We talked to two different people in that department hoping to get better service with the second person. Nope! Those guys in cabinets need to find a new line of work where they don't have to interact with people. ~Greg

I walk in on a Friday to pick up a large order of baseboards and trim. Im there about 4pm and store hours says they close at 5pm. Im waiting for the old man to finish talking to a customer. I hear them talking about stuff not related to business. Made me wait 15min hearing that nonsense only to tell me they have no one to pull inventory from the back. WHY ARE YOU EVEN OPEN THEN???. I ended up going to Discount door and trim next door at the corner. They actually had workers working. I should have read the reviews before even going to this place. ~Nathan
