9 Best grocery store in Mesa, Arizona (AZ) 2024

All the meats I have bought have been great. Shoppers should examine expiration dates and determine if it’s something they will use up quickly or are willing to eat expired. As long as shoppers know the major grocery store prices in their area they will be able to tell what is a real DEAL and what they would be willing to pay full price on to have a longer shelf life. Otherwise, staff is friendly, the store is well organized, and clean. ~H

I love this store. The pharmacist rocks. This store has the first and only payphone I've seen in years. The only negative thing I can think of is they need the Post Office to supply a 📬 mailbox. ~Bill

The store now carries items that are $3 and $5. They are better quality and honestly some cool stuff. They also have self checkout now which is cool. They have a lot of LED light stuff now (speakers, led strips, night lights, selfie lights, and protecting lights...). They also have A LOT of craft supplies...better than most regular stores. You can't beat it for real. ~Dylan

This was my first time at this location and I will not be returning. I was doing a return and from the moment I walked in she was watching me. I have walked into other locations and never had these issues with a return. Please make sure employees aren't judging customers based on race or appearance and making assumptions. Items were okay, but customer service definitely needs some work. ~Janeth

I can never complain about the dollar tree. It always has lots of fun seasonal items and basic necessities. I was sad to see the price increase but I knew it was coming. It was nice to see them stocking more stuff even as I was shopping. ~Katherine

I had a great experience at Fry's today and will start shopping there more often. It is the closest Fry's for me but I have shopped there rarely due to multiple less than helpful experiences In the past. But today I was in a pinch and decided to give it a try even though my expectations were low. But Travis in the Deli department did a stellar job. He was kind and helpful to the person before me even though the gentleman needed extra time and assistance. He was friendly and professional and an exemplary staff member. Because of his service I will give this store a try again. ~Susan

I go to Bashas because it's my neighborhood store. Been going to this one since it opened. The prices are higher than other stores but they do have some great sales. The meats are better than other markets and I like that the butchers are right there for you. It's a bit more of a friendly experience. ~Jo
