6 Best discount store in Mesa, Arizona (AZ) 2024

The store now carries items that are $3 and $5. They are better quality and honestly some cool stuff. They also have self checkout now which is cool. They have a lot of LED light stuff now (speakers, led strips, night lights, selfie lights, and protecting lights...). They also have A LOT of craft supplies...better than most regular stores. You can't beat it for real. ~Dylan

This was my first time at this location and I will not be returning. I was doing a return and from the moment I walked in she was watching me. I have walked into other locations and never had these issues with a return. Please make sure employees aren't judging customers based on race or appearance and making assumptions. Items were okay, but customer service definitely needs some work. ~Janeth

Dollar general use to have really nice people a few months back. Lately the Ladies that are in there are rude and always seem like there personal life has to be heard. It’s happened a couple when my husband has gone in there and money is thrown at him. And today I was there and the cashier after I spoke English to her and she tell me to wait in Spanish I can’t stand when you just see peoples skin color and do that. It is getting bad in there it was one of my favorite stores. Employees make you not want to come back. I rather go an extra mile to another store. ~Esmeralda

I can never complain about the dollar tree. It always has lots of fun seasonal items and basic necessities. I was sad to see the price increase but I knew it was coming. It was nice to see them stocking more stuff even as I was shopping. ~Katherine

Like it alot. Great combo of items perfectly combine to contrast 99 cent items and reflect a look of varying styles and purpose of items displayed in a chorus of savings and functionality. A perfect balace of items ranging from 99 cents up. ~Russ

Love coming to this store. But I do have a complaint. So many cute things that I love to use for decorating. Found 3 very cute signs and was not able to purchase them due to the price tag sticker being placed on the front of the sign. I did try to remove the sticker before I was going to purchase but it would not come off. It left marks on the sign. Wish that was not the case. ~bee
