This is a very clean store. If you prefer esthetics over price, this is the store for you. Came there for some sale items. Their retail prices are higher than others, with many items. Kudos to them for being highly competitive with sales, their sales are what drew me in. Checkout was fast & easy, and they align with other stores in the areas of self-checkout and mobile app. features. The staff were noticeably friendly. I was greeted by a cashier as I walked in. Shy of the Walmart door greeter person, no other store stands out for greeting me as I walked in, so brownie points for them on that.

As usual the cashier was above superior. She noticed I was buying from digital coupons and an item was wrong. She got correct item so I got correct price instead of just letting it slide. Her name was Cathy.

Very unhappy. I loaded my just 4 u coupons and I was charged the normal price for my ham and provolone cheese. Cost about 10+ dollars. Too far to go back with gas prices so high. Has happened in the past also, not just me but others. Is this how they operate? Be sure to check your receipt before you leave the store.

I do like shopping at Safeway its always clean and stocked and they make really good sandwiches and other delicious and hot stuff. What I have tried a bunch but will never get again at least at this Safeway is the fried chicken abs bit because it's not good it's because there is 2 ladies that work behind the counter that are ALWAYS RUDE and ALWAYS act like your bothering them. I've been tempted many times to go to the store manager but it's honestly not worth my time and energy so I just don't buy deli meat or fried chicken there ever, hence only 4 stars. Otherwise I do recommend trying there sandwiches and pre-made soups and other food cause it's always delish.

This review is for the Deli. I have ordered chicken 4x from them. First time, no issues. Second time, I arrived and they were just starting it at my pick up time. I had a party at my house and had to wait. The third time, they claimed there was no order and didn't want to make it. A nice manager had it made and gave me a discount after I told her what happened the time before. A few days ago, I ordered it a half an hour before I would be there. I even called the same day and confirmed my order and time. I arrived a half hour after pick up time and still had to wait 20 minutes. This deli does not have it together.

Safeway at 75th and Cactus in Peoria supplied most of my needs on the first Wednesday of the month. I am a senior citizen so I got 10% off my entire order. There were some empty shelves but overall I got what I needed. The store is fairly large and has a good selection, and lots of parking. I have a Safeway that is closer to my house but it is a smaller store and doesn't have the selection. I do appreciate that they give senior citizens 10% off on the first Wednesday of each month.

The service is wonderful. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. They remain well stocked through this period of supply chain issues compared to many other locations. Demographic leaves the options pretty basic and mainstream. Not much as far as regional diversity.

The bakery is amazing & quick! I got a cake decorated for a retirement party and she was amazing!!! If you see her your will have an amazing decorate cake. As long as she is there I will get my cakes from here!!! It was tasty also! Yum
