Absolutely abysmal deli sandwiches. Overpriced nonsense with less flavor than I can make at home in half the time. Slowest counter service I’ve ever encountered. Even Sprouts can get a deli sandwich right, for half the cost.

Loved this place! Similar to a Whole Foods. Delicious sandwiches and they even had a fresh sushi bar. Wide beer and wine selection with a full bakery. I would choose this place over Safeway across the street.

We ordered" white chocolate marble rum cake " it was good and beautiful made. I would have given 5 stars, but they forgot the rum. No test of rum at all.

I shop at this location all the time. Today was the final straw of being treated poorly by MIKE in the Deli. Today was the 4th time he has treated me terribly. Today as he has (3 times in the past) he helps a customer. after helping that customer. (One of those times even after the person he chose to help ..told him I was first in line ) he continued to assist that customer. . he stares at me and turns his back and walks away . Today I asked if he was going to help me ….. he turned his back and walked away. I stood there until another deli person helped me. I do not deserve this type of treatment. I speaking out today because the look on his face was one of what appears to be disgust. If he does not want to serve people that “ look” like me perhaps he should not be in customer service. My one star is for MIKE ONLY . The staff in this store is very nice always friendly.

Kudos to the bakery department for being wonderful and kind and solving a mix up for us. I am only giving two stars because the cashier and the store manager were initially curt and annoyed with me at a mix up on an order and over charge on payment, that was not my fault, it was yours AJ"s. Thank you for fixing it, however, I am not your "typical" and "entitled" customer. I work just as hard as you ladies do, sometimes 12 hours a day or longer and sometimes 7 days a week. I realize you are short staffed and probably annoyed with the treatment that you receive from some of your customers; however, we are not all like that. Entitled and spoiled. I would venture to say that most of your customers work hard for what they have achieved in life and while some, perhaps even several come off as entitled, I would encourage your management to recognize that there are several other customers that are appreciative and kind. The reason I am posting this is because of how I was treated by the cashier up front and the manager when I returned. Your snarky looks and demeanor were most unbecoming and undeserving as I too had just worked a very long day and only wanted to go home. For all of the "Scottsdale entitled" reading this, please move somewhere else and or start treating the AJ's crew with respect. If you are so unhappy with how slow they are to service you, then apply for job and be part of the solution for AJ's, not the problem. AJ's, I don't know what to tell you, but you are going downhill and fast. I am going to be reaching out to your district manager and whoever else I need to. I will be enlightening them of my experience and observations, along with the names of the two ladies that found it difficult to treat me with respect.

I have been shopping at AJ's for 10 years. I walked into my local store this evening and was disgusted! The health department should be called immediately! I can't believe customers pay what they do for their food. It is filthy! The rest rooms are a disgrace. What happened? I'll never step foot in there again. The salad bar is swarming with viruses! Ugh! Gross me out!

A really good store that has everything you need - albeit pricey, but worth it. From pastries to sandwiches to sushi all made fresh daily and on premise this store has it all. The wine selection and tasting room are a big plus. The fresh produce has many wonderful choices.

Good place for tea on a summer morning. Awesome selection of teas, coffees, and pastries. With misters on the patio it makes the morning in July beatable. Back in November for a burger on the patio. The place is crazy busy for lunch so plan on waiting.

The "Hot Bar" has some juicy & healthy foods! I just had a spectacular chicken cordon blu meal. Wow! Little pricey but quality is good.
