We walked in and it's a post office which is super awesome and as you continue there are items hanging from the ceilings and walls in which some are for sale. a previous review described it as a cracker barrel like setting and I must agree. We sat towards the end of what was a pathway for the servers to go to the outside courtyard. It really did kind of feel like we were just sitting at a small table in a busy hallway. The customer service, for a restaurant, felt a bit forced. The waiter took the order as quick as she could, another sort of tossed all our plates on the table and my bread slipped off and almost my eggs. We weren't even done with our food and another came by and laid down our receipt at which point we asked her about our pancakes which she had forgotten to put in. Maybe because before we were even done ordering our food, she was already starting to walk away. The food though is a positive thing.
I had the corned beef, the kind that comes in a can which I personally prefer and it was delicious. Toasty on the top. Potatoes are good too. I'm also not much of a fan of biscuits and gravy but this place made me reconsider! biscuits were fluffy and moist and the gravy was creamy and meaty with just the perfect amount of seasoning and flavor. it was absolutely delicious. ~Rita
