I didn't think it was possible but Dave is both a god...and an angel. I came to Los Gatos Auto Service after getting my car worked on at another shop, spending thousands of dollars, and still having issues. After all that work, I was mad at the situation and explained all the history to Dave. He listened to every word, asked more questions, asked for the paperwork from the previous shop (which I was happy to give), and he said he'd have a look and get back to me. After a few days he called me, and for the better part of an hour, explained everything he thought happened and what he believed was wrong. He also spoke with the previous shop and worked out a deal where they would pay for his diagnosis and I would just pay for the fix. Even then, he told me the total and proceeded to discount it heavily. He said the whole situation was unfortunate and wanted me to leave as happy as possible. And I did. I will be going to Dave for everything in the future and have already recommended Los Gatos Auto to a friend having trouble with his car. Thank you Dave!!! I always get a phone call to update me on the progress of the appointment and I absolutely love the report telling me each and every item that was taken care in the process.
