Neighborhood shop which has been in business since 1960's Work is done by appointment And friendly you do need someone to pick you up if the service is going to take awhile or if you stay metal chair.. shop doesn't have waiting room or bathroom... You can't beat their attention to service of your vehicle plus bone cut prices for what you receive no dealer markup here... Takes u back to when you trusted the local shops be it repair or hardware stores This shop gives you one on one So enough said... Hopefully all had Great 4th July this year! Happy trails folk's! I had a great experience here. I chose the spot because of other reviews describing the mechanic as trustworthy and I agree with those reviews after my experience. Lyle was clear in explaining what the issue was and thoroughly explained my options and offered his recommendation without being pressuring. His quotes seemed reasonable to me and he did the work quickly and effectively. I will definitely consider this my go-to spot for car repairs

Rarely do you meet an honest mechanic. Lyle ordered my parts ahead of time, called me 1 hour after I dropped off and told me none was need just dust causing the squeak. This man is living treasure.

Best brakes and alignment / suspension shop ever. The owner is a wealth of knowledge and experience. Very competitive prices, quick service. They diagnosed my suspension problem and found a simple solution after two dealerships quoted me thousand of dollars of UNNECESSARY upgrades. I will never go to any other shop. These guys are simply the best.

I've been taking my cars El Sobrante Brake & Wheel going on ten years and received excellent service each time. They complete the work in a timely manner, they communicate directly with an estimate for approval, quality work at a fair price. In the past I've use other shops, but for brakes and alignment El Sobrante Brake & Wheel is the best.

These guys are great. GREAT. I took my car to get aligned after changing the tie rods myself and they caught an error I made and fixed it. They were not patronizing about it (which is hard to find in older male mechanics) and encouraged me to keep working on my cars. They also gave me advice on a couple other issues my cars are having, without trying to sell me anything. And did I mention their prices are good? Highly recommend. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.
