Very unpleasant experience. While I was on the phone with my wife could hear the pharmacist shouting at her for asking simple questions that any helpful employee would be glad to answer.

This pharmacy is the closest to my house, and by default, should be the most convenient. Disappointingly, when you factor in the lack of customer service and unprofessional business practices, I am seriously considering making the change to …. well…. ANYWHERE other than this pharmacy in Granite Bay. I have never had an issue with Walgreens in the surrounding Sacramento areas, which makes this site uniquely terrible. What should be one monthly trip to the pharmacy, has become two or three trips regularly. Why? The “rx isn’t ready, come back in 45 minutes.” Or, “both pharmacists went on lunch at the same time, come back in an hour.” They never seem to be available via phone so that I can prevent a wasted trip, and the phone confirmation calls state “you either have an rx ready for pick up, or we have experienced an unexpected delay.” ??? What in the world does that mean? If you have an option, select another location… I view this pharmacy similarly to the year 2020…. One ⭐️ Star, would not recommend!

Consistently poor experiences at this particular Walgreens. Almost all of their staff are simultaneously rude, dismissive, & unprofessionally slow. Most pharmacies are bad, but this one is especially awful.

Consistently have to wait 40+ mins to pickup prescriptions, they never answer the phone, and half the time the prescription isn’t ready when they say it is.

The staff at the pharmacy were so rude. There was however one guy, Erich, who was actually super helpful and genuinely kind and my 2 stars are for him, but the other dude was so rude, and the lady with the red hair, acted like we were inconveniencing her by asking questions about a Covid test which THEY lost. Like … why be rude to customers that are just asking genuine questions and who were being polite ?

So Im a diabetic, and if I dont get insulin, it causes a lot of long term defects. I go in to receive some, and they tell me they previously gave me a 77 day supply, and that Im not eligible for a refill. I informed that that I was literally out and I absolutely did not receive a 77 day supply. The pharmacist went and GOT A CALCULATOR to mathematically calculate why I wasnt out of insulin. Even though I was out of insulin. It turns out there was an error at a different Walgreens causing the issue. But instead of taking the time to listen to me and help me figure out why there was this problem, they decided to bring out a calculator to try to prove to me I wanst out of the life-saving medicine that I was definitely out of. Oh, but they offered to let me pay out of pocket. And insulin is not cheep. Avoid these guys at all cost. Buy on the black market before you go here.

My visit here was really quick only because I found out the FedEx they have inside can't do Fax but it was ok the place across the street had a location available and I found some other great snack items I wanted.

Got both of my Covid shots here and waited 40 min over the scheduled time for both only reason I say this is becuase I brought both of my dogs with me both times and didn’t want them waiting in the car good thing it’s winter though wasn’t to worried about them but just wished we could have stayed on schedule the staff is nice 👍

The employees here acted like we were inconveniencing them when we asked them a question about the limit on a sale item. Then when we were checking out the manager came up to us very loudly and yelled at us, contradicting what we were previously told. Even after we said okay and went to put things back the manager kept yelling... The guy was so loud and so worked up it looked like he was about to cry. It was so embarrassing that I will never shop there again.

Constant long waits. Call the day before saying prescription is ready for pick up. Next day had to wait 20 min. To have it filled. Why even call the day before. Constant issues with customer service. Talked to manager and he is useless. Get new management.
