This is a very large CVS pharmacy. The parking lot is also very large and the pharmacy even has a drive thru along one side of the building. Those all sound like positive points but none of them really matter. The parking lot is so large, you will probably never run into a problem finding an empty parking space. They could even cut the parking lot down to half of it's current size and I still don't think finding a parking space would ever be a problem. If you spend too much time in this store you might have a problem finding your car when you come out though. The security guards are tow happy at this location and they tow any car they think has been parked in the huge lot to long. It doesn't matter that the store itself is very large and it is not unreasonable to spend a fair amount of time shopping here if you have many different things to buy. Unfortunately the security guards do not take the physical size of the store into consideration. They just assume that nobody wants to spend more than 30 or 40 minutes in this store so any car parked in their lot longer than that must be illegally parked. It does not matter that their lot is still only about a quarter full at best. Just be aware of how much time you are in the store and you shouldn't have a problem with your car being towed though. It is easy to lose track of time in this store though. As I said, this is a very large CVS pharmacy. Unfortunately, the large size does not work in the stores favor. It is hard to find what you are looking for and walking down aisle after aisle scanning the shelves on either side is usually how most people spend the majority of their time in this store. It does not help that the store is located in the heart of Hollywood and can get very busy with a very wide range of sketchy looking people. Hollywood is not one of the nicer neighborhoods in Los Angeles and that is reflected in the clientele here. The store is open 24\7 (one of the very few drug stores that is still open 24 hours a day since COVID became a reality) which is probably the best and worst thing that the store has going for it. Ever since COVID ruined the party for everyone else, it is very hard to find any store (other than 7-11) that is open past midnight much less 24\7. That is the one huge thing this store has going for it. It can be very convenient at 4am. Unfortunately, you can take the large physical size of the store, add the not so great neighborhood filled with very sketchy characters and then multiply all of that by never closing and what you get is a disaster of a store. Nothing is where it should be (which is why you scan aisle after aisle) and the store just never feels or smells like it has been properly cleaned in many years. There is the convenience of being open 24\7 though.

The night manager Nadia, is the worst for this store location every person that comes in she picks and chooses how she wants to profile them as a human. I went to this location and she questioned me because I was standing there waiting for my boyfriend to come so we could check on batteries. I strongly recommend as a person with a business degree she needs to be let go she's horrible for your location and it's creating a bad image.

New record in length of receipt!! 87 inches. Store is over priced. Pharmacy staff is clueless. Store staff is worse. However, great place for watching Police action. If CVS isn't being robbed the 7-11 across the street is. Also many opportunities to be harassed by homeless. I only go here to see how long a receipt I get. How big is yours?😄

STAY CLEAR AT ALL COSTS!!! This location is constantly robbed so they pass those expenses on to you. Numerous times I've been profiled for being homeless when I actually just came from a run, the manager would get on the intercom when I walked in and tell security to be on alert "you know what we have" I live a 1/2 mile away and would pick up snacks so it happened multiple times. Their pharmacy never has enough people working, but hey at least they apologized when they lost my prescription in less than 24 hours from a text saying it was ready. There's only 2 people who actually work at the pharmacy, the young Asian female pharmacist and the dude with dreads. Definitely stear clear of the guy with a chain, he hates his life and its clear. I will never be back, I am changing my pharmacy. Just please if you're still reading, anywhere else is better. Update 5/21/22 The security guard harassed me before entering apparently no reusable bags. Fine, I left it at the front. I walked to the water, they were out, I needed eggs, also out. I go to retrieve my bag and 2 female employees question me before I can leave. No I didn't buy anything. I exit, the security guard said better nothing be in that bag. I opened it as I was walking away. Corporate just needs to close this store already. Demolish the building and get something else that might actually clean up the area.

2 bad experiences here, others are good. Few weeks ago, the security guy wanted everyone to leave bags and backpacks in the front upon entrance. This caused complaints as there was no number cards to identify which bag or backpack belonged to who. I asked the pharmacist what to do if our bag got stolen. He then said that was the new policy and stupid. If it happened, we could just sue CVS and get rich. The the African American pharmacist may sound funny to others, but to me, when I asked why only 2 meds instead of 5. He just replied I don’t know what you are talking about. Then walked away to grab my meds. Then the consultation checked, it was returned and only 2 showed up. He will help me get the other 3 by tomorrow. The African American dude is ok and may work hard, but the way he replies makes people feel he does not care and does not want to help. He also did not give me a small paper bag to carry the meds. The next day, John was so nice to give a paper bag to carry all 3 meds together. What a nice gesture. Except this 2 complaints, the place seems darker than other branches. Maybe just too old.

This store has really gone downhill. The current management doesn't seem to care about the community, has no concern for safety, and seems to be just fine with a filthy store covered with graffiti inside and out. Despite numerous complaints over the past year, the store manager refuses to do anything about it. Don't go to this store.

They wouldn’t let me bring my own reusable bag to use. Bags cost extra, they just assume you’re going to steal if you have a reusable bag and won’t let you shop

This review is for the pharmacy and not the overall store. I really actually don't love general CVS higher prices and wasted paper on coupons, having to save them and letting them expire. It's silly to me. HOWEVER, I tend to frequently have issues fulfilling prescriptions in other places because of the disconnect in communication with my doctors' offices and the pharmacy. Twice I needed help getting a few important prescriptions filled, and the pharmacy staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Most other places would just not have helped at all, but they stayed on top of my insurance company and other pharmacy until it was handled. It's a refreshing change from what I've been used to in other pharmacies, so I will be fulfilling here from now on.

Do yourself a favor and PLEASE go to a different CVS, especially if you need their pharmacy. The pharmacy is understaffed, some of the remaining staff is RUDE, and the store is always run down/kind of a mess. It's not in a bad part of Hollywood, but boy this store is absolutely worth avoiding. A mess.

CVS, 1747 North Cahuenga Boulevard, Hollywood, California 90028 Treats Their Customers Very Bad And It Shows! What A Disappointment! I shop at various CVS locations because supposedly CVS is or was My Favorite Drug Store Chain, but at times I have My Doubts! Early this afternoon being Monday, May 14, 2018 at approximately 12:30 P.M., I went inside this store location because I needed to use the bathroom. The female representative at the front just told ME to go to the back of the store in Aisle 25. When I got there, Both Bathrooms had Fake Signs Stating That The Bathrooms Are Not Functioning! However, while waiting at the back of the store for assistance, some Female Management Employee comes up to ME and tells ME that the Bathrooms Are Functioning, however, I am required to leave my BAG at the Front Of The Store. I asked her to Show ME the Sign that States that I Need To Leave My Bag At The Front Of The Store and She Refused Stating that the Next Time I Come Into Her Store that I Will Be Required To Leave My BAG at the Front Of The Store once I Walk Inside! I told her that I am Not A Thief, nor have I Ever Stolen Anything In My Life and back home in Toronto, Ontario Canada No Drug Store and/or Chain Drug Store Ever Treats, "Nor Abuses Their Customers" Like I Have Been By This Female Employee! She Simply Did Not Care! I Honestly Felt as if I Was In A Prison or something because this is Not A Normal Procedure Conducted By CVS! When I went back to the front of the store I asked the available store employee to Show ME The Sign Stating That All Bags Are To Be Left At The Front Of The Store and she told ME that there is No Such Sign and I Even Looked Around Myself and Saw Absolutely Nothing! I take this Very Personal and sounds like I have been Racially Attacked and/or Discriminated for Invalid Reasons! I can Not Believe How CVS Can Allow Their Employees To Mistreat and Abuse Their Customers For Invalid, Untrue and/or Unnecessary Reasons! I guess I won't be going back to this CVS location anymore! Enclosed, in the attachments, please find some pictures of the store location for your reference and further review. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore Angry And Upset CVS Customer /HPS
