This is one of few pharmacies/convenience stores in the Tahoe area, and they’ve shortened their hours even more (and have not updated Google Maps or their website). If they had everything updated online, there would be no issue and I would’ve saved myself the trip!

The very helpful, professional and caring pharmacist here is beyond wonderful. She recently caught a mistake in a prescription and continued to help me as 3 UCDavis physicians wrote slight different erroneous prescriptions before the 4th of July holiday. She also helps me fill prescriptions from any Rite aid quickly. She is a gem and the reason i drive to Rite Aid in Kings Beach from my home 20 minutes away.

I love Rite Aid in Kings Beach. It is small store but it is fun to shop in and the workers are so nice! I go there every time we get to be in town.

The employees are very helpful, bur whoever changed the hours so they close so early is a mental giant. I work 7 days a week, and I rarely get home before they're closed. Couldn't you stay open later even just one day a week? Im not alone in my feelings. I've been here outsde the store for Ike 10 minutes, and there have already been 4 cars, a TART Connect, and a person on a skatebiard that have come attempt to enter the store. The cameras will show what I'm saying. Run them back and see both the business you're losing and the people from this very neighborhood that are being let down every single day. The decision maker obviously did zero market research in the area. 2 stars only because Sherry is there and she's great. Otherwise we're talking negative -2 stars because the hours and selection are crapola.

Hours on line and posted on the door say open until 9 on weekdays; it’s not. I’ve been here several times before the posted close hours and it’s never open. So frustrating. Just change your posted hours and stop waisting peoples time.

Saturday 10/18/2021 I have to drive 15 minutes to get to this pharmacy so before going I check on google map if they where open and it says on Saturday they open at 8am so I went. When I got there at 8:56am a lady closed the door on my nose and said they weren’t open until 9 o’clock in a rude tone. Made me feel really mad and left without the things I needed.

Awful customer service. Good luck trying to get in and out fast. If you have any questions or issues during checkout the cashier will throw up their hand and walk away. They demand you go to the back of the line. This happened to me SEVERAL times this year. I was recently embarrassed by the cashier when my card didn't work at checkout. I tried the card a few times with the wrong info and it locked me out. The cashier told me I was trying to pull something and I was caught on camera. She yelled this at me in front of the entire store full of customers. Avoid this location completely.
