I have been in line twenty minutes and no hope on the horizon. I have been to a lot of,Walgreens in my life time.I had to do some shopping at the Los Altos store on 3rd street, could not believe how helpful Lovejit & Chris, to me I felt like,I had known them for years we talked about life, I needed help in the photo department,Chris was so on,I needed help with finding other items,Lovejit was on as she cleaned each cashier counter, She reminded me of me how clean she was being & paying full attention to all my request for help with a smile, What a team they all were, All I got to say is God Bless this store these worker really no how to respect customers,Please give these 2 people some attention at this store who ever is in charge of higher management. I'm rating this store ZERO STARS if I could. Horrible service. Last Wednesday, 07/21 at around 4:20 PM we went to get a couple of things and when it was time to pay, the cashier was extremely rude to us. There were a bunch of prompts (rewards, etc) on the screen that had to be answered before the transaction could be completed and even after politely explaining that we are not interested in signing up for rewards, he said "I'm the boss" and "I'm trying to save you money" so he went ahead and agreed to all the prompts on the screen. His tone and attitude was unnecessary. We felt very upset and disrespected. Poor customer service.

7/21 at around 4:30pm - The cashier forced my brother in law to sign up for all these promotions and my brother in law tried to politely decline. The cashier got upset and started yelling at us and told us “I’m the cashier, I’m the boss.” He proceeded to just click yes to sign him up for everything without even asking.

My online same day delivery order never came so I called Walgreens support, they told me the delivery issues are usually handled by doordash, and then I called doordash since the order email said the delivery would be done by doordash and the status said fulfilled. Doordash said they returned the order with no reasoning and told me to call the specific store. I called this store and they told me that there is no such thing as online delivery even though I explained that I have email receipts, and doordash tried and failed to deliver to my address. They just kept repeating that I am wrong and there is no such thing as ordering for delivery on the Walgreens app, only ordering for pickup. Honestly it was probably 2 times as much time and 5 times as much energy as it would have taken to just go to Target, but I had a free delivery coupon in my email so I thought I'd try it out. I could go pick up my same day delivery that had now become a pickup order, but I was frustrated with how difficult it was to get any updates and then just to be told I was flat wrong, so I cancelled my order... Hopefully. Will probably just throw away the $25 if I end up not being refunded because life is too short to deal with this kind of thing and I don't think I can handle being placed on hold and transferred, and told that some app functionality and service that I just used doesn't exist anymore this week 🤣

This is a good place. Many staff members have been here a long time. It's nice to see familiar faces. The pharmacist and his team are friendly and helpful. It's a great, mellow location, and a great size store - not too big - with a good range of merchandise.

I've had several positive interactions here, with employees, but the pharmacy no matter when I go always has a line. A line that moves so slowly. Los Altos has an older population so I feel terrible watching the them stand and wait. I can't understand why they don't always have 2 checkers at the pharmacy. It would make a huge difference. Or implement a take a number system to help the elderly. For now, I will take my business to the Walgreen's on el Camino. I've never had to wait there.
