Pretty baller , wish they didn’t toast the bagels. Maybe it’s an LA thing?

Was craving a banh mi so badly after just eating burgers the last 2 weeks. Friendly service and a sick pork and chicken banh mi❤️❤️

Place is cute. Outside is terrible due to its surroundings. But the staff are all really sweet people and food is good.

Hands down the best iced mocha I’ve ever had. The breakfast sandwiches and bagels are delicious and always freshly made. Lunch is just as fantastic. All the sandwiches and salads are so tasty- try the pork belly bahn mi!! The sides of pasta salad included with each sandwich are always the perfect accompanying bites. The lovely couple who run Marie’s are also always a highlight of our trips. They’re so friendly and warm and we enjoy catching up with them. Overall, Marie’s is a MUST try!! A hidden gem of DTLA.

Love this place! I stayed downtown for a few weeks by Marie’s and it was by far my favorite spot to go for breakfast/ lunch (not to mention also the most affordable one!!). Bagel #4 was a winner for me but nothing I tried there ever let me down. I would definitely recommend!

They seem to have become somewhat jaded by the people who live around their cafe....my rating would be better if they didn't toss bleach water all over the entrance as well as the sidewalk. I was refused service my first (and only) visit here. " Get out, no free food, this is a business." I was looking to grab a coffee on the way to work. Guess not. I won't drop down to their level, which is apparently judgement based on appearances....I asked for a large coffee, and while looking for cash, was told to leave. I was trying to help them out by not making them break my $100 bill. I had just found a $20 when I was shouted out of the store. Sad and disheartening. Wish I knew what caused the hostility. My wheelchair, my loud, happy voice? If you wish to open a business in your adopted country, please don't let yourself be taken in by stereotypes. I could have called ICE, but that wouldn't do anything. Went to Starbucks. Got a free biscotti w/ my coffee. I'm sorry you lost a potential every day customer. Oh, and my friends are getting the same info. Americans are Americans. Learn to love it or learn to leave it. Thanks.

Wonderful Greek Salad from this restaurant. Wish I found them earlier in my trip!

Very nice Mom and Pop sandwich shop that's my go to when in the area. I've turn others onto it before and now it is their go to place as well. Very reasonable prices and generous sizes. Ham, swiss, avocado is my favorite but I've not heard anyone who's complained about whatever they order. Limited seating below but has more upstairs but most people do take out. You order and pick up at the counter.

Absolutely my favorite place to get a banh mi in DTLA. Have been coming here for 3.5 years so far. Super flavorful and slightly fatty pork belly and great ratio of veggies to meat on a crisp baguette! Everything is great about the sandwich and it comes with a small pasta salad too. Owners are really nice and service is always great. Highly recommend!!

This simple mom & pop sandwich shop is one of the best in the area. Whether it’s for breakfast or lunch, look no further. Easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches and banh mi’s that I’ve ever had!
