Pitchoun!

First don’t get the apple tart! It has apple sauce inside it and not sliced or poached apples. Other than that everything is incredible! Friendly employees and the food is so good. We ate here everyday for breakfast while we were in town for a convention and cannot wait to come back. The name translates to kiddo in English if you didn’t know! ~Dustin

McDonald's

Message to this McDonald's: Do you want to know how to improve? Start by training your workers right. Every time I go to that McDonald's, something is always wrong with the order. Either something is missing, like meat on my kids Happy meal burgers and the apple slices, or you add stuff when we specifically say not to add it. I can't be opening all the wrappers to check if you got the order right. This is nonsense. The only reason I went to you guys is just because of the Sonic 2 Happy Meal toy. We always go to Chick-fil-A and they never mess up our order. Ever. ~Ademar

Nice Coffee

Nice Coffee is nice indeed. The downtown coffee shop has a magic that I don't see in many downtown coffee shops: it slows people down. I don't mean that you have to wait for a long time to get your coffee, I mean this is a place where people, even office workers who are usually on a tight schedule, seem to enjoy spending some time at. The coffee shop is housed in a stand-alone structure in the center of City National Plaza. The shop has a neat, modern look with straight lines, steel beams and wooden counters. The shop leverages its central and easily accessible location by opening up all sides of the shop and providing plenty of seats, including a bar top on one side. When I first visited the shop one early morning, I saw someone in a suit eating his breakfast by the bar, chatting with the baristas while sipping an espresso. Another time I stopped by near lunch time, there was a little crowd around the shop and conversations were everywhere. The open air must give people who work in an office the real break they need. I have had good cappuccinos at Nice Coffee, and a refreshing hibiscus tea when I need something decaf. Service feels noticeably above the usual coffee shop experience, there is a friendly day-time bar atmosphere at Nice. ~Yü

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

The Coffee Bean has multiple locations around L.A, and the good reviews made it worthwhile to try. We enjoyed The Chandler (Iced Caramel Coconut Latte)and The Joey (Mango Cold Brew Tea) during their Friends' Buy One Get One Free promo. My partner said his Mango Cold Brew Tea tasted more peachy. Highly recommend the Iced Caramel Coconut Latte for any coconut lovers or lactose intolerant people. It has a smooth, sweet and refreshing coconut flavor to cool off in the summer heat! ~Karen

Marie's Coffee & Deli

Hands down the best iced mocha I’ve ever had. The breakfast sandwiches and bagels are delicious and always freshly made. Lunch is just as fantastic. All the sandwiches and salads are so tasty- try the pork belly bahn mi!! The sides of pasta salad included with each sandwich are always the perfect accompanying bites. The lovely couple who run Marie’s are also always a highlight of our trips. They’re so friendly and warm and we enjoy catching up with them. Overall, Marie’s is a MUST try!! A hidden gem of DTLA. ~Alex

McDonald's

McDonald's just isn't the same as it was in the '60's. The food doesn't taste the same as it did then. The burgers that they've sold millions upon millions, today are a facsimile of the good little burgers that spanned the globe. The food is overpriced and of poor quality. This McDonald's location is very busy. Expect to wait wheather you are driving thru or walking in. ~St
