I got my taxes done here at the Jackson Hewitt in Los Banos, by Karen Mason. I usually go to H&R Block, or do them myself, but didn’t want to this time. Karen was so sweet and professional, and really made the whole experience very relaxed. She was confident and knowledgeable in everything she did. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! You won’t be disappointed! Just ask for Karen Mason and you know you will have you taxes done by a true professional!

Karen was awesome! we recently had our taxes reviewed at H&R and we were going to have to pay State & Fed. so we decided to wait to file to figure out where the money would come from. The H&R rep. was extremely upset which led to a unpleasant experience. We decided to give Jackson Hewitt a shot and we were glad we did! Karen Mason was so profession and polite, she answered all our questions and gave us time to think. From this point on we will use Karen & JH tax service.

I just wanted to share my thoughts with everyone who reads this!! The day I went to Jackson Hewitt to get my taxes done, I met an angel! Ms. Karen Mason didn’t know it, but I was in crisis mode! I was in a dark place and that day, the ATM machine failed to give me my money (300$) and I had to wait 10 business days for my bank to investigate what happened before they would return the money to my account! I went to Walmart to pick up my prescription and low and behold, they couldn’t find anything for me!! I literally was in tears from crying about my money situation then to no medication and Ms. Mason made me feel welcomed and let me just breathe without any judgement or funny looks!!! I apologized for being “a hot mess” and she comforted me with her kindness!!! Not only was she able to assist me with my taxes, but she helped me obtain the loan, a feature Jackson Hewitt offered which helped make-up for the money, the ATM stole! If it wasn’t for meeting Karen that day and for her assistance with my taxes and for allowing me to be “a hot mess” without judgement, she brightened my evening, a weight was lifted and I felt some relief!! Her customer service is a 10!! I received my return without any hiccups and when there were questions as it was originally rejected due to information on my part, she assisted with the corrections efficiently. I highly recommend Ms. Mason to all my friends and family and anyone who reads this!!! Thank you Karen!!

This was the first year we did our taxes with Jackson Hewitt and the last. They told us that they were going to send us the small state check to the house what year did it happen it got sent straight to them they kept that 481 then they're charging us another $400 to do early refund what does that even happening in 21 days and nothing so they lied about that too we're waiting for the federal is going to go straight to them you don't know how much to do take out and the people the answer the phone supposed to be supervisors a rude I asked on she goes honey do you think we nice people that's why we give you the money don't think so you got the loan we're taking our money back bet you can't you say we took out a $2,000 advance when we only took out 750 and I'm worried because I reported her that she might try to f*** us over with are federal

When I used to go to H&R Block I got treated like a dog. Disrespectful and hurtful things were said to me there... but here I am treated like a human. Karen Mason treats me like she cares. Plus she does really good taxes, I just don’t understand all the paperwork and whatever goes on.
