Our van lost a caliper bolt on our road trip from Oregon. We noticed very quickly that something was up pulled off the I5 and into Discount Tire Outlet. David got us in immediately, checked the tire, diagnosed the issue, called the parts store and had us on the road in record time (under 30 minutes!) His kindness, expertise and genuineness were refreshing. Thank you to Todd for his immense help and concern. If I’m in Redding and need tires, this is the place I’m buying from Hands down🔥🔥 Thank you so much!

I have visited Discount Tire Outlet a few times now, the first time I went in I bought 4 new tires for my car and the gentleman who helped me was great! It took several hours but that’s to be expected at any place. When I got my tires changed I requested that they check my brakes and rotors and tell me if I needed to replace anything, as I noticed my rotors didn’t look great. They assured me I did not need any services, but only a week later I went camping in the Trinity alps and almost lost control of my vehicle on the windy mountain roads because of my rotors and brakes causing violent rattling. I stopped driving my car and then I visited Discount Tire again and had my brakes and rotors fixed on August 29th. They test drove my car, told me it was safe and I went on my way! Almost immediately I noticed my steering wheel felt more challenging than before to control, the rattling was gone but every time I hit my brakes I would be jerked to the left. This was very concerning to me so I did not drive my car anywhere and as soon as I was able I went back to Discount Tire Outlet to ask for an inspection. I let the man at the counter know I was expecting to take a long trip and I would be on some mountain roads and wanted to make sure I was safe to drive. He said he checked it out and test drove my car and diagnosed it as a stuck caliper, but assured me it was “Manageable” and to take my trip. He let me know I could come back and he would be willing to fix the caliper for upwards of $150. Being told it was safe to drive, I took my car home. Just around the corner from the tire outlet I was aggressively pulled into oncoming traffic by my steering wheel, fortunately the truck in the oncoming lane swerved but I could have been killed. I took my vehicle to Les Schwab where they did a free brake inspection and found that the mechanics at Discount Tire Outlet had crimped my brake hose with a vice-grip and left it inside when they had worked on my brakes, the man who said it was safe to drive when I had returned with the issues the Vice-grip was causing did not inspect my vehicle and he could have gotten me killed with his advice. Please go to another shop where they will care for your safety and not be too lazy to preform a brake inspection. After spending over $1000 there in the few months, I thought they could at least check out the problem, but again was lied to because a brake inspection was too inconvenient for the staff. Let me know if you want your vice-grip back!

Kaylee lockard, if you happen to see this review , you need to contact, BAR “ Bureau of automotive repair”, your life and that of others was put into jeopardy because of negligence. For the customers that do business with discount tire outlet , I encourage all of you , to look around for all of the Certifications that the employees there do not have , and if they do, they would be posted on the wall , with a picture included of the Certified employee, or employees, but they don’t , And that’s why vice gribs were left on a break line .. that never should have happened , business is word of mouth , and this word needs to be spread , before another Potential fatality happens!!,

I use Discount Tire to keep both my work trucks and my personal truck on the road. I'm a contractor and I get a LOT of flat tires because of driving onto construction sites. These guys do flat repairs in about 15 minutes and I've never once been charged for one (don't know if that's because I bought the tires here or if that's policy). I also buy all my tires here, generally ordering new tires but occasionally a used set if they have something with low wear that's a great deal. The staff is very friendly and professional and they remember me by name when I walk in. Just had them throw a new set of tires on my personal truck today and I was out of there in less than an hour.

So I walk in and see two employees working their tails off. Good start. Then as soon as I am noticed, one of them greets me and says he will be right with me. And he was. That was followed by my truck being ready sooner than expected, but the real kicker was I find out the other guy working his rear off in this heat was the owner. That is the way it ought be, willing to do what you ask of your employees. Highly recommend.

Supreme tire care- my husband and I have been customers for about 5 years. Discount tire always goes beyond the expected in customer service. They have quality tires that come with excellent support from the knowledgeable and friendly staff. 5 Star operation!

I can’t speak highly enough about their honesty, customer service and best pricing! We were told we need a new brakes by a couple of other shops and rather than taking advantage of us, they told us we at least had another safe six months. On our other vehicle they saved us hundreds on new tires. These guys are THE BEST and I’m so thankful I found them!
