I absolutely LOVE this place. Every trip to San Diego we spend hours in the store checking out booths and making multiple purchases. Best gift shop I've ever been to and always look forward to returning to it when in the area.

Very cool place. They have EVERYTHING. It is pricey though. If you ever have last minute gift-shopping to do, you WILL find something here. I purchased a macrame thing to hang and put potted plants in as a gift for my sister—she loved it! Even if you don't intend to spend money, it is fun to just browse.

Excellent as always with just as nice service as 3 years ago. Wonderful to see you still offer such a variety of interesting products and some locally made too.

Large open space is divided up into smaller venues where individual vendors/artists can display their work for sale. It's cleverly laid out in concentric circles so you'll always find something new around the bend as you see one vendor after another. It's a great place to find unique and original items for gifts. Because the vendors are always updating their merchandise, you'll find new gift ideas, too.

Very disappointed, I’m visiting from Utah and for the past week I have gone here everyday at least spending $100 or more, each day, I fell in absolute love with this shop! Out of everything every year I have gone to SD this by far has to be one of my favorite shops that I just found out about this trip! Today I went in right before I was leaving out and a older lady named Susan made this great place something I don’t want to go back too. Not only was she extremely disrespectful the way she would speak I felt extremely judged by my appearance because I was dressed “comfortable” big tee shirt and shorts and a bun as I was about to go on my ride home. She followed me around the whole store and didn’t make it very discreet and it’s honestly quite disappointing. There is one young girl with glasses who truly needs a raise everyday I went in there she welcomed me in would say hello and even went as far as remembering me each time I went in and would engage into conversation, this is extremely disappointing as this was going to be a shop I continued to shop at as I come twice a year to SD but I’m not sure I want to anymore due to Susan. And the fact you are also a manager is beyond me. Just because you have a higher position in a store does not give you the right to act like you are “higher” than everyone else and treat them differently because of it. I absolutely never leave negative reviews on anything even if something did happen but this incident with Susan today was beyond me and it sucks because I support the vendors in this shop but it’s hard to when you have someone like this lady working in that shop! The only reason I’m giving this a 2 star is because of the younger girl working and some of the amazing things this shop has, but you should really teach your employee customer service! A smile and respectfulness can go along way with someone!

Lovely shop! The reason for the two stars is Susan the store manager practically pummeled me at the entrance over my small Northface backpack. Which by the way I use as a purse when I travel. My family spent over $500 on this trip at this really cool shop. It has items from all over.. I stopped in on my way out of California with intentions of buying this really awesome Pink Floyd drum clock for another $110. I decided not to buy it because of how I was treated. I really think you could benefit on training your management on how not to be aggressive with customers. I thought this was going to be my new favorite store but now I'm not sure.

This place was amazing. It seems to be arranged in sections for numerous artians (at least 100). There are lots of beautiful things inside. You need to visit to appreciate the gift of these local artisits.

Love love love this place. I walk around just to see all the new stuff they have. My favorite is the face wash, body lotion and honey that is local. They even let your recycle the glass that the products come in. Very friendly staff and helpful with all things needed. Sometimes I get to meet the people that own certain sections of the store which is fun.

Pangaea Outpost was an interesting find during our visit to Pacific Beach San Diego area. It’s basically a ginormous group of Boutiques under one roof. I loved the idea of shopping in so many boutiques all at the same time. However, the only problem was there were way too many items I wanted to see prices for on items inside locked cabinets in tons of different fixtures set throughout the establishment among the different boutiques. I had a really hard time finding someone to help me track down the keys to all the many cases I wanted to look inside. I had to just decide not to look at some pieces. It wasn’t the easiest shopping experience. Aside from that I felt the staff was friendly & helpful, they even wrapped my gifts 🎁 But had I not opened them when I returned home prior giving them to my friends they would have received the presents I bought w/the price tags still on them. They’d blacked out the $ amount on 1 side but forgot to check the opposite side. At any rate I caught the problem on the most important present so it was fine. My favorite part of shopping Pangaea was the jewelry selection in natural stones, the $’s were fantastic. It was also a short walk from our hotel so that was convenient as well. I have respect for the artisans who sell their work here I felt it is a great showcase for all types of retail. Thank You Pangaea for a unique shopping experience!🤩

This store is awesome for fun gifts and clothing. It’s multiple stores in one and they have plenty to choose from for both men and women. I’d highly suggest swinging through and checking out all this store has to offer. Great clothing, random gifts, books, plants, you name it. They always have new stuff too. Parking can be tough because it’s on garnet Ave but during the week no problem. You might spend a little more money but it’s worth it.
