An Amazing old Tobacco shop with a huge collection of cigars, pipes, and pipe topbacco. When you go inside it feels like you're back in the 1800's. The Sheriff of old town who runs the shop is a great guy that is very knowledgeable. If if you do not smoke you should visit as it is California's first smoke shop.

Everyone needs to head here for the ambience & experience! Part old time museum & part genuine pipe & cigar retailer, Racine & Laramie Tobacconist is the most unique shop you'll ever enter! Located inside of the historical Old Town District, staff wear historically accurate clothes of the 1800s & happily talk with passers by about the original tobacco shop located in the very spot they now work. Most shoppers simply purchase & take away their smokes, pipes, tobacco & accessories, though buyers are welcome to enjoy their cigars & pipes in a small smoking area on the front porch of the shop. (As Covid restrictions are soon to change, expect the small indoor lounge area to be opening soon). This is a must see spot.

Amazing, Amazing. Very quaint, exquisite and unique. A one of a kind tobacco shop. You would be hard pressed to find anything like it anywhere else and I mean anywhere else. Some of the prices are a bit high compared to online retailers but you get what you pay for and you are not going to get the experience this shop gives you ordering from a computer. It's a must visit for anyone site seeing or looking for fine tobacco products. To the owners and employees of this shop, I was well pleased with the entire experience of shopping here today. Thank you.

This cigar shop is like Red Dead Redemption irl. I've been coming to this cigar shop since I was a child and I go whenever I'm in Old Town and it holds very fond memories for me. I love the smell inside and all the neat items in the glass cases. The tiny little cigars are so cute and perfect as gifts.
