We picked La Strada after reading many great reviews on Yelp and we were not disappointed. The service was prompt and attentive, the food prepared well and delicious exactly the way we requested it, and the prices were reasonable considering the service level and food quality. I highly recommend the sampler plate as an appetizer, the scampi (I had shrimp) with polenta, and the lemon gelato dessert who's wonderful Italian name I've already forgotten!! But which came with a wonderful puddle of strawberry glaze to drag the gelato through that gave it a delicious strawberry lemonade-type flavor. Yummy!! We'll be back!!

Friendly, prompt and attentive service for single diner. On keto diet and they adjusted accordingly, salad, veggies and lamb chops. Wish the chops were a little thicker but still good sear and grill marks. Nice house wine, but wished for a little more healthy pour 😉. The decor is dated, but gives the old world charm. San Pablo is a bit run down, but LA Strada is a nice jem for the area.

We were seated immediately, dishes came quickly (pesto gnocchi, scallop salad, lasagna, and eggplant parmesan). Did have to ask for the wine list, but I did like the Pinot Grigio I ordered. The complimentary freshly grated parmesan was good. Waiter kindly took a photo of us.

Classic Italian ambiance and great customer service. We truly wanted to love this restaurant however the meals were sadly bland. I do however hope this restaurant continues to serve the community and its loyal customer base.

It's an okay establishment in every way. The place looks and the food tastes okay. I tried the burger they have and it was bland but the fries however, I haven't a clue how they got the fries to be as amazing as they are. The only reason I gave 2 stars rather than one is for those fries AND the people who are a part of the crew. The crew has lovely people. I'd only ever come if you have an excess amount if money. The food isn't worth the money it's priced.

I started with the mozzarella caprese and it was delicious. Followed by the minestrone, just a cup, also wonderful. And for my main I had the beef ravioli, it is served with sausage in an aurora sauce, it was fabulous. The coffee was quite good as well, it needed NO sweetening and NO cream to cut any bitterness. And of course, because what good is a meal without a dessert, I had the tiramisu. It was outstanding

Update as of 01/30/22 Still a current fave in our rotation of most frequented restaurants. This is a place that goes above and beyond in quality of food and service. Very much love that they require proof of vaccination. My fave is their eggplant parmigiana. We’ve tried almost every item of their menu and it’s never a disappointment. Another fabulous place that we frequented for over 15 years. Currently they offer dine in and outdoor dining and their bar is open. Same great food & service. Never a disappointment in their food. Always consistent which brings a homey feel. Love their bread with the olive oil & balsamic. I typically go for their specials or get the linguini con gamberetti. I also recommend the ravioli, calamari, lasagna, actually everything really. Dessert their tiramisu and creme brulee are our faves. Been here for celebrations with a party +40 during pre-covid times. In preparation they provide you a menu which they produce a personal menu for the guests.

Family owned, nostalgic Italian food (like Alphonse’s, or Barone’s from my childhood in LA). Always delicious and very special. Try not to eat 3 baskets of their homemade bread with your perfect Caesar:)

I placed a pickup order for a few of their anniversary specials, the woman that took the phone order had okay phone etiquette but the blonde man that was greeting guests/bringing out orders had amazing customer service. The meals are tasty and include a side of delicious polenta and mixed veggies. Only recommendation is to order your garlic bread lightly cooked, ours was too hard. We ordered the eggplant Parmesan, veal marsala and salsiccia peperonata. Everyone enjoyed their food!
