Very bad rental policy. When you make a reservation, their policy states that the availability of the truck is not guaranteed, while you'll still be charged $75 for such a "reservation" if the cancelation happens within 2 days before the pick up date. This is not reasonable. You either ensure the availability of the truck for the reservation, or you should not charge the cancellation, you can not do both.

Do not trust Budget. They canceled my reservation the day before my move and offered me no alternatives. U haul was sold out (and were up front about it, thankfully) so I was forced to spend $600 more for a last minute Pennske reservation 30 miles away. Budget is not an ethically run company.

BEWARE OF USING BUDGET!!...I was Moving and deadline to get out of house so, 10 days previous, I made reservation on line at budget website. Locked everything in and planned my moving day. 48 hrs. before I was to pick up truck I called to confirm and was told there was no truck available. I called corporate website location, where I made reservation and they assured me I would have a truck waiting at a different location. 24 hrs. before I was to pick up truck I got a call telling me that location did not have a truck form and that I should go find one elsewhere. I called corp. and was left on hold first time for 20 minutes and the second time for 15 minutes. I then called U-Haul and they bent over backwards to get me something to use. I will never use or recommend Avis Budget for any services ever again. I plan on spreading the word how disconnected their website is from locations.

Rented a truck from here, but theres no place for you to leave your car! How are you supposed to pick up a truck if you can't leave the car there!? When I wanted to cancel my reservation, I was told it would be $60 to cancel a $15 truck. When I picked up the truck, I was told to ignore the tire pressure monitor warning as the "pressure can go up or down significantly due to the temperature". I soon found out that one tire had an audible leak after loading it with furniture. Aside from that, I dropped the truck off promptly at 8am and was charged 3 days of usage and late fees after reviewing my receipt. I was refunded my money and given a gas credit as a courtesy for the trouble, but had I not reviewed my receipt, I would have lost a good amount of money.

Rented a truck from them and they charged us $100 dollars extra for insurance we didn’t ask for. The representative involved specifically told us the insurance would cost $50 dollars when we asked him what we were paying for. Yet somehow we were overcharged. I just don’t want others to be overcharged, so if you do choose to use them, be sure to triple check your rental agreement and ask to be shown your options for insurance on paper being extra clear in what you want. It may have been a mistake and if it was a mistake, it’s too bad they couldn’t have just owned up to the issue instead of insisting that he made it clear because he obviously didn’t tell us he was giving us their premium $150 insurance package.
