Drove up to Tehachapi today to grab lunch, get some home renovation things, paint department manager COMPLETELY ignored us as we waited to be “waited on”. He CLEARLY did not want to wait on us. We waited approximately 10 mins, manager walked away, we were never acknowledged and when we asked the other clerk why we were ignored we were told we were “waiting” in the correct spot, there was no sign to state their process. I’m not surprised at this point why online sales will knock out the service industry, automation is obviously the wave of the future as critical thinking and customer service skills are falling by the wayside. We will hit up Karl’s in Mojave as their customer service is superior. 0/10 recommended the paint department here.

Super friendly folks that have lived in Tehachapi for a very long time, very helpful I enjoyed shopping at this location I wish all Home Depot would train their employees to do the same. Most of the time here in antelope valley some of the employees are just there because they have to show up to work and are In a bad mood to help the customers.

Decent, like any other Home Depot. But I was very saddened by their Plants. Specially the indoor plants. Most of them were dead or dying. Like no one pays attention to them & they are still marked for full price.

Was looking for 24-inch wide wall insulation. They only carry 15-inch wide. Will check other hardware stores in area. I visit here often and appreciate their selection of products and the courtesy of the staff. Discounts for Veterans with VA cards. Worth a visit.

Beware when exchanging propane. I went to get an exchange on my 5 gallon tank, I noticed my exchange felt light so I asked for another, again it felt light but I went home and weighed it. A full 5 gallon tank should weigh around 37 lbs. the exchange I got was 30lbs. I went back and asked for another exchange and again I got another 30lb tank. So amerigas is probably skimping filling the tanks. Once I got my refund I came to loves travel center and had it filled there and guess what? 37lbs on the dot. Don’t get scammed buying propane from Home Depot.

Employees are nice and helpful, store is pretty decent. Sometimes out of stuff I need, which can be frustrating, but I'm not taking a star off for that since there's a supply chain issue impacting pretty much the entire world. The reason I'm taking off the star is the indoor and outdoor gardening area is infested with little birds, which defecate all over the place. The reason is open bird seed bags that they don't seem interested in removing or securing so the birds can't get them

This home depot was pretty cool. They greeted me with a smile as I walked in, and the facility itself was presentable, zoned, and cleaned well. The inner most staff seems unmotivated to help customers, they can't keep eye contact, and they wait until you ask them for help even when it is obvious that you've been looking for the same item for ten minutes. Overall I had a great experience. It wasn't crowded, and I found everything I was looking for.
