There are number of very friendly and nice people but some others just making jokes around and focus on their personal conversation while we wait to finish our business in dmv. Those people make mistakes and made me to come back couple times. Wasting lots of my time..

This day on this branch it's busy but settled we waited 30 minutes then my sons number called process went to a room to take his written test about 28 minutes he got his test done & passed.all clerks are helpful line we're always in order a little faster that day. So be4 going there make an appt cause u have a separate line from the walkin people.

Efficient, clean, and lines go by faster, and security is friendly! Hopefully if you want to take nice ID photos you get the young man working there, because the older crotchety woman who also works there hates that you put effort into your appearance and will purposefully scream out "another coworker's name" to startle you so you make a weird facial expression just as the photo is taken, and will refuse to retake it for you.

Dreaded the long lines and crowds of people, but I was dismayed! Based on past experiences, arrived way early for my *appointment* (key), there was no one in outside check-in line, got checked in immediately and given a number, barely sat down inside (practically empty?!) when my number was called! In and out in maybe 15-20 minutes! Best advice: do everything online -- including making the appointment, upload your docs and take hard copies of everything with you as backup.

Was here a year ago to get a California ID and I've decided to share my experience despite being late. I can confirm most of the bad reviews written below are true. Most of the staff/volunteers were extremely rude and not at all helpful. The first volunteer worker who helped me said they couldn't accept one of my residency documents in such a rude, condescending tone and didn't even help me afterwards. Second time was when I was waiting to get called inside. I was accused of "not hearing my number getting called" even though it never did until an hour and a half later, and the lady upfront starting screaming at me. In addition, the staff members who were supposed to help the elderly customers treated them so disrespectfully, especially towards this elderly Chinese man who could not speak English. They would just yell at them in frustration and never bothered to fix the situation. The entire place felt disorganized, but perhaps due to it being in the pandemic. The workers inside the building that took my picture, however, were nice and helpful at least. Overall, the experience was a complete mess, the place is unwelcoming and I will not be returning to this DMV.

If you have your application online completed, and the correct documents, once you get your ticket number, it's usually less than 30 minute wait to get called to window. If you don't have application completed, you get ticket and go to computer to do application. If you have the wrong documents then you need to come back. The website is very helpful and tells you everything you need to know. For your car registration, have you smog done first. It makes it faster.

The workers are not kind and friendly. They should look for another job less customer service. The government should provide better attention to the costumer. They should remove all employees who do not provide good service. We pay to have good service.👎👎

Completed my task in no time!. The security staff, señor is so friendly and we did a fist bump. I waited a little bit outside for the Kiosk because there was a line inside. Once inside, the folks ahead finished in a breeze except for one person who got agitated and flipped a chair. Paid additional 2.1% for the convenience and got my renewal. Place is clean as well as the rest room.

It goes fairly quickly when you make an appointment days in advance. But, if you simply "show up" without making any appointment prior, expect to wait at least a few hours before getting finished.
