No star review first of all I went in to return a drill and the warranty that I bought that was not functioning properly on the jobs that I needed to do I asked the tall dark haired guy seem to be in charge of the floor time don't know if he was the manager or not to help me pick out a drill that would work for what I needed I had to ask him several times to help me with the drills seems like it was a huge inconvenience for him to help me pick out the right drill out of 40 or so they had on display. I nearly had to beg him to help me find one that would work after they me to the other side of the building then sent me back again to customer service 2 times no luck changing the drill and the warranty that I bought after the tool rental girl who is really nice and the customer service girl who was really nice got back on the phone with the manager, he would not update my drill which was not functioning properly for the jobs that I had to do it's too bad he made that choice because I'm just getting ready to outfit another crew spent $1,000 Easy On Tools here this last year I was getting ready to spend another $3,000 alone just too outfit 3rd crew I'm definitely not going to spend it West Sacramento Home Depot because they wouldn't take care of me on the drill and warranty that I purchased which was around a $200 package they just lost thousands of dollars worth of business from me I will loan and also inform my employees not to buy anything there it's too bad because my business is really expanding who knows how many thousands of dollars because of poor choice. Rented square buff floor sander. First machine was in poor shape, we think it wasn't balanced correctly. We came out to swap it out, the second one was also pretty ruff. They did reduce the rental price (thank you), but we wont be getting refunded for 2 days wasted. And it took more sanding to get out the waves the machines made.

Very unprofessional service with the rental department , when you rent a machine you shouldn't have to run all over the store having an associate tell you where the item is and for it not to be there , the solution for the tool your renting it should be right with the machine , then when your done running around the store trying to get the right stuff you have to wait another 20 minutes in line and the people skills just were very crappy.....I will never go to the west sac reed store again!!! These employees should take training from the roseville store......

Tool rental department here is a godsend for DIY projects. The staff there is very helpful, but be warned that it will be very busy on weekends when the weather is nice

Big selection happy staff. They have trunk rentals for $20 as well. So if you are getting furniture from Ikea and do not want to pay Ikea $90 for delivery that's your best option.

Pretty terrible customer service. I would avoid the tool rental department at all costs. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.
