They told me the one year old battery in my car was out of charge and that they would charge it for about eight hours and would charge me 100 for that plus replacing the battery on the keys, which sounded fair. When we went to get the car he said the battery was dead and he would charge 120 dollars, which is fair. However, not only did he charge us full price but he refused to give my 125 dollar battery back, which was still under warranty so that I could get credit for it. He justified it by saying he wanted the 20 dollar recycling fee. This is outrageous given that he charged me full price for a new battery, and cost me 125 dollars in credit I could claim back, just because he wanted to profit more. This mechanic is dishonest, and you are better off moving on, despite the seemingly positive reviews.

I took my Volkswagen Passat to them for an inspection, he was honest and forthcoming about what the issue was. He told me what the problem was and what he thought about it. He wasn't trying to sell me repairs that wouldn't work in the long run, he was honest, he's not looking to take your money, he wants to fix the problem and if he can't fix or thinks the fix isn't worth while he'll tell you. I will definitely go back to him.
