The pharmacist there is great. She doesn't argue with me when I get my necessary pain medication filled. They are far better than Walgreens on North Avenue that has a pharmacist who believes he knows more than my doctor.

I read the reviews about Grand Junction CVS after I read the reviews about Boulder CVS and they pretty much match in what people have to say. My experiences, however, have been terrific. My mom lives in Boulder and has a terrible time between not getting her prescriptions through the mail order system and her doctor having to send prescriptions back to the physical pharmacy. I decided to walk into Grand Junction CVS awhile back to help my mom sort out a problem. Cynthia had worked in the Boulder pharmacy and was able to help get that situation sorted out. After talking to my mom the other night, I found out she had not been receiving her mail order prescriptions for four months and couldn't get anyone on the phone in Boulder. She just needed assistance with getting in touch with the mail order site to figure out why they had stopped sending her prescriptions. Today, I went into the Grand Junction store and explained to the first lady what I needed. She turned to Cynthia to assist me. Cynthia remembered my situation with my mom in Boulder and worked with me for about a half hour figuring out how I could get my mom's insulin so I could get it to her this weekend. She was able to transfer primary pharmacy to Grand Junction so she could fill the prescription for pickup tomorrow. She also very patiently answered all of my other questions on what could be done to make it easier on my mom for her receiving her prescriptions in a timely fashion so she wouldn't be left waiting on prescriptions for four months again, especially when they are critical, like insulin. I highly recommend the CVS pharmacy for the sheer reason that they are so willing to help solve CVS errors like this.

Man, talk about the most incompetent people. Acted like they had never heard of Tricare or a military ID. Said my name didn't match my social and couldn't do anything, even though I've had this prescription for 2 years!. Then said sorry we're closing for lunch, if you want to try something else you'll have to come back. Horrible pharmacy.

We have been very happy with the CVS Pharmacy at Target in GJ. The staff is always helpful and friendly. We hardly ever have to wait in line. We have been using this pharmacy for a couple of years now and have never had any issues. My only complaint would be the limited hours (wish they were open on the weekends).

I love this pharmacy. When I first came to GJ and transferred all of my prescriptions here, I panicked because of the hours. I have spoken several times with the pharmacist and pharmacy tech - I realized it was ONLY the two of them working the entire pharmacy themselves. I have never known a pharmacy that size to be managed by 2 people. As consumers, we must realize that these two ladies must do ALL of the ordering, keep everything organized, manage all of the scripts, etc. TWO of them. Do you think it is their choice to have only two people working there?? They are doing the best they can, and I think they are wonderful. If you come up there with a smiling face, I guarantee you will be treated with a smile. If you come to the counter irritable, all you are doing is making your situation that much more difficult to manage.

So after chasing my RX all morning only to find it got sent to CVS, tried calling them and the entire store, only to talk to someone in guest services, she tried but has her hands tied on helping me. I want to say that the pharmacy is very poor at taking calls, let alone answering them. I will not be coming back to this place ever again. Sorry if they are short staffed but still doesn’t warrant the neglect of phone calls from customers.

Just look at the rating and you get the idea. Worst pharm in GJ, worst chain. These ppl must kill pppl on a reg basis. Every time I deal with them and not mail order, they have to order my meds. Takes days. After waiting for 4 days for my med to arrive and get processed, today sys was down and drove all the way there to be told no. Again. Has happened many times before. Never stops. Hrs do not fit anyone's schedule. Worst, Worst, Worst. What is this was a cancer med?

My prescription took so long to be filled that I was no longer in town to pick it up. It took me 5 different calls all over 20 min to finally get a pharmacist on the phone in order to cancel the pick up.

I recently moved to the area and transferred our family’s prescriptions over from a CVS/Target out of state. I’ve had the displeasure of coming here multiple times; I’ve had a few different staff members and they have all been rude, short, and condescending. They all seem like they hate being there, and want the customer to know it. They also told me they were completely out of a prescription of mine and did not know when it would be in stock, and when I pressed with slight panic, they said “well we have a one month supply”...I won’t even go into the hours other than that they are the literal worst. I will definitely be transferring away from this location, as well as CVS in general, since apparently they are okay with this kind of behavior from team members, as I am clearly not the first with this type of experience at this same location.

Staff is not very well organized and has a bad habit of multitasking instead of dealing with one customer at a time. It's scientifically proven that we are more efficient when we do not multitask. I've been here for almost 45 min watching the pharmacist bounce between different tasks. Its creates lines and a bunch of people waiting around for one person to slowly complete every customers request. Unfortunately this is the only location my insurance wants me to go, so I cannot go to a different pharmacy. I hope they will focus on improving their customer support and processes.
