I really REALLY dislike Safeway. All of them. The only reason I continue to come here is because they have two items no other store has. Each time I go into a Safeway though, it certainly is not without inner turmoil on whether or not I actually NEED those items in my life.

Went for ready made food & the only thing I was interested in was sushi.... didn't look great. All of it looked spoiled. Clean store though.

Even after the remodel it is so hard to find things. It's so bad that the managers have a hard time finding things too. Peanut butter by the dog food? Really?

The workers are very unfriendly especially the lady that works the you scan. She seems to pick and choose who she watches. Came to me specifically to check all my items were paid for. Very embarrassing for me. I always pay for my items.

Made the switch to Safeway during the pandemic and have found I prefer this store to its competitor in my neighborhood. Clean, stocked, organized, and friendly people.

Can't even go grocery shopping there without an employee comming up behind me and whispering in my ear "you should just buy all the food". Thus calling me fat and being crazy creepy while invading my space. Wish I could see the tape.I was in such shock i just hastily walked away without looking and checked out.

The Safeway on mineral and Broadway always has doordash pickup orders in a cart and waiting, this location should go train at the Broadway and mineral location. One of these stores is either going above and beyond or not meeting the standard. I understand the order because it didn't pay me enough to stand there and listen to those two snicker and mock me.

Stable store with surprisingly good prices... Well if you join the "cool kids club". Usually I get very good service with a much more relaxed and polite croud than at other discount grocery stores. With a post office, dry cleaners, liquor store, and many others nearby, this strip mall is one stop for all chores.

Consistently a decent store. It's more expensive than King Soopers, but sometimes has better coupon deals. They don't have the best juice selection, if you're looking for 100% juice. The parking is always easy, the workers are friendly, and I can usually get in/out in under 15 minutes.

This Safeway has been my go-to store since 2016. Recently in the last year to 6 months I have seen more suspicious people here in the parking lot in run down cars playing their music loud and arguing with other people in their cars. I've also seen a few mentally ill homeless people inside and outside the store, sometimes panhandling. I used to work in corporate security before I retired and am familiar with street people. And I've also seen some people about a month ago in the store that were dressed like gang members wearing colors. For my personal safety I have switched to the King Soopers off of wildcat canyon south of Valor high. I do not feel safe going to this Safeway anymore and I think it's only a matter of time before there is some kind of incident this store has either inside the store or in the parking lot with some kind of assault, robbery or other incident. I am highly observant of my surroundings. I think it has to do with this store's location as a entry spot off of Broadway and the fact that the public bus stops up by the police station and the fact that a lot of homeless people camp down by the disc golf course and along the trail system. They are all on foot and go to the nearest location to hang out.
