This CVS pharmacy in Brooklyn, CT is horrible. The pharmacist was rude and even if you call in ahead of time to sort out your medication to confirm the pick-up time/date, the script is NEVER ready when they say it will be prepared by. It always takes several trips and many discussions for the pharmacy to get it correct. I am seriously thinking of changing pharmacies.

HORRIBLE! I am so sorry to have to write this, but I feel if I can save just one person from going through the continuing unprofessional mistreatment I have, I have done my job. I myself stopped using CVS Pharmacy in Brooklyn over 10 years ago, because every. single. time., I went there for a prescription I encountered the most insolent individuals. No smiles, no greetings, when they did look at me, and I smiled, they returned my smile with a look of condescension and to top it off an extremely long wait time; (probably a marketing ploy to get one to shop in the rest of the store). Unfortunately for me I had to deal with them again as I am helping an elderly person who returned home from rehab. The 2 times (in as many days) I had to deal with them there were issues. First problem ~ prescription was called in 2 days before we arrived to pick it up. When we tried to pick it up, I was told 3 times in a very patronizing manner, “it was never called in”. We called the provider, and they said it was called in, and verified that statement by promptly calling CVS and spoke with the pharmacist himself who said it was and had been ready, I made another trip (15 miles round trip) back to CVS. The pharmacist defended the tech who told me the script was never called in. Pharmacist said wrong birth year was given, that is why the tech could not “find” the script. Oddly enough the tech was able to “find” and tell me about a different script that I was not even aware of, for the very same person. So, even though the wrong year was given, she was able to find another script for the same person and the pharmacist claimed it was totally my fault. ‘Huh?’ Second day ~ another prescription was called in by provider at 10am; at 1:05pm we called to see if it was ready; was told they “were closing down for lunch at 1:30-2:30, but if I wanted to take a chance and come by right before 1:30 it ‘might be ready’”. I decided given their track record to wait until 3pm to give them enough time. I was not surprised when it was NOT ready at 3pm, however, it did not keep me from going from zero to 100 in a New York minute, which is NOT my nature at all. With my urging my friend is now changing to Stop & Shop in Dayville. He was not fond of CVS, for some of the same reasons as me, but did not realize it was so easy to change pharmacies. From Stop and Shop I receive excellent professional service, friendly techs who actually smile, the pharmacist, even though busy is personable, they have great prices, and never make me feel like I am bothering them. CVS pharmacy employees could take some lessons from them. The store associates at CVS Brooklyn CT are always pleasant and helpful.

Horrible service : Good luck getting someone to answer phone, then when they do answer if you need to speak with the pharmacist he is so rude and speaks down to you . Changing pharmacies right away will never fill another prescription there

When a physician sends in a prescription order at 8:30 in the morning to the pharmacy & it is still processing at 3:00 in the afternoon & the only reason you get it filled is because you go into the store, CVS has a problem. When you are on hold for an hour because there is no one to service phone calls, CVS has a problem. When the customer service people in the pharmacy are rude to customers, CVS has a problem. CVS in Brooklyn, look at all the negative comments. You have a problem.

The automated refill is terrible. When you call to see if your prescription is ready, the service gives you a time for pick up. It is NEVER ready. I have gone hours after the stated time and I sit in ridiculous lines at the drive thru only to be told the prescription is still in progress and it can be ready in 30 minutes. 45 minutes later, another long line.

We've gone here for a long time, but over the last two years it has become impossible. They cannot get anything right, and prescriptions are never ready when they say. Employees seem clueless or else seem like they don't want to be there. You will be waiting 45 minutes for anything, and sitting in a pharmacy for that long guarantees you will get sick before you are on the way out.

One of my 1st Visits. Poor window service. Young girl was rude and acted like i was wasting her time. Seriously Cvs? Use some of that cash your spending on acquisitions and train your personnel better or make the effort to hire better people.

Nearly every time my doctor sends them a prescription it will sit for days in their system without being filled until I call them and suddenly it will be ready in an hour. I've never seen a pharmacy where scrips just sit in limbo like this.

Pharmacy has declined in service. Received numerous texts stating prescriptions were ready for pickup. Four visits to pickup scripts and total confusion at the pharmacy. One day stating they only have partial pills and two days later still Not in. Day 5 they can’t even find the refill Info online . Looking to move to another pharmacy . Despite a multitude of staff in The pharmacy they are very inefficient!

Get messages prescription is ready. Went in. Not even in stock! Give them two days notice for refill. Go in. Had to wait 45 minutes to get filled.
