Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. You can’t get in touch with the Rocky Hill location, or the manager, when there is an issue. And every time they treat my lawn there is an issue. I requested a manager call me multiple times and nobody calls. When someone does come out to treat the lawn they often are lazy and don’t do the entire lawn. They take shortcuts, and just want to get out of there. I have 2.5 acres, they are on my property for less than 5 minutes. I knew their customer service would be bad going into it seeing the reviews, but never imagined it would be this bad. Services: Grass seeding, Weed control

I did TruGreen for over 4 years now. The lawn looked better than it was. But, sometimes the workers would submit compline of work, when they never showed up. This year they only came here twice and I called them, they said they are short-staffed. Well, that’s not my problem. I’m looking for a new lawn service.

Terrible have had them doing my yard for years my neighbor watched the service guy do my lawn and he only did half the front not the back or the sides and left, then proceeded down the street and did the same to two more of my neighbors, my neighbor actually went up to him and asked him is it was front yard only Tuesday!!! Seriously extremely disappointed!! Called them up got nothing but a runaround I prepaid for the year I wish I didn't!! My yard is all full of red thread not happy!!! Their customer service absolutely sucks!

My lawn started out looking like a golf course. It was beautiful and lush with ZERO bare spots. All TruGreen needed to do was not mess it up. After 2 years of arguing with them and following their instructions for watering and alerting them to possible issue, this is what my lawn looks like now (See Pic). Each time we had an issue (with no exaggeration) it took 5-10 calls to get someone to come look at it. While the people you reach on the phone are very nice and so are the techs that apply the chemicals, the local managers who are there to resolve issues or look into troubled lawns, never respond nor come out or do anything at all. One of my issues started in June 2021 and wasn't addressed until Oct 2021. This is possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with. Buyer beware. While treating my lawn, they broke our fence and did not let me know about it. In filing a claim with them, I found their customer service to be awful. They don't understand service recovery. The manager I spoke with was defensive and barely apologized, instead focusing on their policies. It is clear they have serious systemic customer service deficiencies. Had Trugreen for about 6 years. The condition of the lawn was deteriorating when they started and turned the condition around within a year. To be fair, they did a good job at first. 2021 however I started noticing signs of grub damage to my lawn which was surprising because I had the grub control service. I contacted trugreen to notify them and I was told the yard was covered by their warranty and they would make the repairs. I was refunded the $ I was charged for the grub control and repairs were scheduled for this spring. A few weeks ago a technician arrived to repair my lawn. What I got was far from a repair. A ride on spreader was used to spread seed over the lawn. This ended up causing more damage leaving ruts in the lawn from where the tires spun. Some areas it actually ripped up portions of the lawn that were left untreated and the main walkway was left covered in dirt and seed. The lawn looked worse after the “restoration”. Clearly quality is if no concern which is why I cancelled my account. If any tech had any idea about care and maintenance they would have noticed the grub damage in their own, yet it took me calling to complain before something was done. Once they attempted to make repairs , additional damage was done to the lawn that was left untreated. Trugreen is very famous with their lawn-care services, but i will never recommend them to someone i know. they have the worst services based on my experience. most of their agents do not listen to your lawn needs and will sell products according to what they perceive how your lawn’s health looks like via a phone call. i cannot imagine how someone takes care of your lawn & sells lawn products and the person is from Indiana. I currently live in Connecticut (Milford). I just found out Trugreen buys small-scale local lawn care companies around my area and it is better to go directly to your local people who knows your soil, grass and etc. Trugreen is very expensive with the worst customer service. I can write a lot of negative experiences with them.

Lawn destroyed from over fertilization. The service tech looked at it twice and said it was heat stress and slight over fertilization.. Take a look at these pictures. Stuff happens, but not taking responsibility is unacceptable. Update: Trugreen prepared and seeded the area of dead grass. Still unhappy with effort and time to get action. Missed 4+ weeks of the Fall growing season.

My lawn looks better than ever… NOT. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR YARD. In a letter of less than a season they have DESTORYED the lawn. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The company that had been used in the past did a poor job. That job looked like a million dollar job compared to what TruGreen has done. The yard has gone down hill. The lawn has never looked worse. Get a dog to fertilize your yard they’ll be more reliable and do a better job than these bozos. It is embarrassing to look at and to have other people see how bad it looks. It is nothing but patches of dead grass and weeds. The level of incompetence is incredible. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to properly take care of a yard. It has been destroyed. You couldn’t pay me 1 million dollars to have them EVER come back! Services: Lawn mowing & maintenance, Lawn pest control, Weed control
