I have been going to the Southington Midas location for quite some time now. My first service visit, I met the store manager Mark who impressed me with his friendliness and outgoing personality. From that day I have used this store to maintain and service both our vehicles. Mark and his team make each visit fast and easy, always explaining any service needs that might arise from routing maintenance. It is very apparent they bring the needed automotive service knowledge to this store and it sets Midas apart from the competition. Mark and his team have earned my trust, respect, and business. I had called Midas to schedule an oil change for my 2015 Hyundai Elantra. Online it stated that they had a special for $29.99. I called the day prior and set an appointment for the following day at 12. I arrive at my scheduled time. They tell me I'm going to have to wait until at least 12:45. So I leave and they call me back around 1:00. I head back. They then ask me if I want synthetic blend. I said I'm not sure, I just want a regular oil change. The gentleman at the desk was Jerry. He proceeds to tell me to sign the paperwork. I look down at the price before I sign. It literally said $98! $98 for an oil change?! He says he can give me a $10 off coupon. I said absolutely no way I am ever going to pay that much for an oil change. So I walked out. I went to Monro and paid $39. Never in my life have I been so floored. As a woman I am used to men in these businesses trying to treat us like we know nothing. But to be asked to pay almost $100 ?!

Employees chose to not tell me twice what they were doing to my car because it was a "subtle change" during my oil change but unfortunately that caused my splash plate to almost completely fall off on the highway and when i asked them if they had extra screws they took off the plate completely without telling me rather than just telling me they didnt have what i needed. Frustrated that they couldnt have just been straightforward with me.

Excellent service! I called in the morning on a Friday (before a holiday weekend)and got an afternoon appointment. My car was ready by the end of the day. I had called my dealership also. Their earliest appointment was 9 days out and I would have had to drop off the car for at least the day.

I brought my car in because the front end was loose. It also pulled to one side or the other upon acceleration. I was told that all of my engine mounts were broken and they quoted me an estimate of $1,300.00 I brought it to another auto repair shop only to be told there was nothing wrong with the engine mounts. The mechanic brought me under the car to show me. He pointed out that one bolt was sheared off at the bottom but, that it was still holding as were the rest of them. They charged me $70.00 for the estimate. I won't be going back to them. Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is the second time they've taken my daughter's car in, on short notice. I worried about the exhaust system and brakes, and it needed an oil change. They okayed the exhaust, fixed the brakes and changed the oil, on the same day. Very nice young fellas who run the place!

Very nice and professional men working in this establishment the manager Mark helped my mother very much with her brakes when a different garage turned her away. Mark talked to myself and my mom with respect and a professional matter!! My mom had her brakes down the following day since we can the day before right before closing time. I went in for an alignment and was told I needed front end work. I gave $900.00 toward it, financed the rest which they said would be $80.00 monthly. Upon picking up my car, the finance charge doubled. I did not sign any paperwork until I picked up my car. By this time it was too late. I took the car home and it was still pulling very badly and jumping. I brought the car back and was then told I needed rear shocks. I do not recommend them worst experience of my life. Car still doesn't run well. I feel that had I not been a woman and my husband were still in my life, I would not have been taken advantage of.

I was having some trouble with my car and brought it to Midas and they fixed it all in a day and I was beyond pleased with the outcome. They were professional and super informative I will definitely be going back for future maintenances on my car and my families, I also would like to thank Fig he is great!!
