This place is awful. I have a couple scratches on my car and I went there today for an estimate. The guy looked at my car and angrily said you are going to pay $500 for every little scratch you have on the car. When I asked him how much it's going to cost in total, he said the car is in front of you you have to count the scratches and he walked away. This is beyond unprofessional

They did a great job and cleaned out the inside of my car for me. I know they didn't have to and they didn't know my hands are disabled and it was such a treat for me. I definitely recommend them , very nice , comfortable and easy to talk too. ❤️

I had an excellent experience with this shop when I needed a rear windshield replacement on my BMW. Oscar handled all the communication with my insurance company and competently answered any questions I had. When it was time to perform the work, I dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up that same evening, exterior washed and all. The quality of the repairs looks flawless. Also, Oscar was able to procure OEM glass for the car rather than go with an alternative manufacturer option, which was a welcomed bonus to me.

Excellent auto body shop. Entire staff was friendly and helpful from the beginning of the process to the end. They repaired my car's body damage in two days and the quality of the repair is superb. And they completed the repairs in-line with the insurance estimators estimate. Highly recommend! Service: Body & Trim

Professional, prompt, and really effective service. My car was ready days before the date I was given, and it was returned to me spotlessly clean, and of course, with no sign of the big crash it endured days before. I do recommend Shippan Auto Body!

Outragiously expensive. I know the work is good but their "are out of this world. I went to for body shops to get" and there's was no closer than a $1000 to the other 3. So the closest they got to the other 3 places I had an same done was a $1000. They were $2000 over in another place that I went to. I've always heard their work is great but for those prices I'd rather have Van Gogh do my body work

Fantastic and professional service! Truly grateful! My car needed a new door and they were able to assess how long it would take - 3 days I had my car back. It looks incredible! Thank you!!!

Shippan Auto Body, after dealing with them, falls into the category of service providers that want to do something to get paid without fully fixing the problem. My Mercedes needed to be fixed. Fender had a dent and scratches, scratches on the bumper and parking light on the side had to be replaced. An estimate has been given and I was told that everything will be fixed in a couple of days. After waiting for 4 days I decided to give them a call since I did not hear anything regarding the repairs. A person answered saying that the car was done and I could pick it up. (How hard is it to call a client and say that the job is done). After inspecting the car I realized that there was paint coming off on the fender. After bringing the car back to the shop I was told that they must have missed a spot and that if I leave the car it would be done by 6pm. I agreed but picked it up and paid for the job the day after. Later I found another problem with the job. There was a crack in the bumper that the person doing the estimate missed. The crack is to the side of the headlight, in the niche, so it was hard to spot. I went back to the shop again. The owner spared 10 seconds to tell me that it's a split in the bumper that I was told about when I brought the car and no work was done about it, turned around and walked away. A few days after I decided to go back to get some clear answers. Firstly, I wanted to know why nobody told me about the "split". It made no sense for me to spend $1000 to repaint something that has a crack in it. I wanted to find out why replacing the bumper never came up in any conversations. After approaching the owner who said that I questioned the estimate too much, and that I did not want to pay "too much" to fix the bumper I realized that the owner of the shop decided for me what the best course of action is. It was to repaint the fender and bumper, and leave the crack alone. So, after he stormed out yelling "Goodbye" multiple times, I am stuck with a cracked bumper which I might need to replace (I am not happy that I paid to get a bad bumper repainted). As far as I can tell, the fender looks good, and they might be okay at what they do, but just like others will do a half assed job to get paid. "It's just business".
