My first experience was really positive. I was greeted by Jose and Sam helped me for the rest of my visit. Both gentlemen were friendly and customer service oriented. I was denied checks even after requesting. Only oil change was done stating queue. I want to have fluids filled before winter which they didn’t do. More than that they mentioned in the bill that checks were not done based on customer request. Total dishonesty. Service: Oil change

Shady business? My sister went to get an oil change by someone named Andrew or Andre and “Danny” … the “oil change” bill was $213 and no receipt was given! I WILL be disputing said charge personally with the bank and escalating this matter! $213 for what!? NEVER AGAIN. STAND CLEAR YOU ALL! Service: Oil change

Not my normal stop but I went because I figured it's a commercial business should be exactly the same as my normal store. However it wasn't, the staff I encountered were extremely ghetto. The staff seem sketchy and untrustworthy. Them working on my car Made me super uncomfortable I' started having speaker issues with my car directly after the oil change. I'm literally shopping for a new car now but a part of my mind is accusing them like I won't lie I feel like they did something. My gut says they're shady and normally right 10/10 Service: Oil change

These guys really explained what services I needed, which ones I could hold off on, etc. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I was about to depart on a 5000 mile trip and I have greater confidence in the car given their terrific service and attention to detail.

Don’t be afraid to use them! Valvoline Stamford are a cut above. The technicians are polite, professional and explain every step as they’re working on your vehicle in front of you. I was apprehensive as I’ve heard horror stories about quick lube places, but I had a great experience. They do replace your oil filter and use a torque wrench to make sure it’s done correctly. I appreciate the small touches like the professional appearance (tucked in shirts) and showing you the oil dipstick to show you the oil is at the proper level before driving off. The next day I made the mistake of taking my girlfriends car to Midas Stamford and they spilled oil all over the engine bay without cleaning it up and didn’t even reset the oil monitoring light. I come back here for every oil change and don't bother going anywhere else, as I am always met with a smile and super friendly attitude by each of the staff members. Today I was helped by Sam and Rob who were exceptionally helpful! :) They changed my oil (which was terribly low- my fault) and changed my oil filter. They also added an oil stabilizer to help with my hot engine..... also I was explaining how my car has a weird smell coming from the vents and they knew right away what needed to be changed, gave me new filters for the cabin air and also another filter under my hood, and the weird smell is totally GONE! They also told me what services to ask for next time so that I can deep clean my engine and keep my car running well for the long haul. They are extremely knowledgeable, and I have the utmost confidence in them - it was my best trip to Valvoline yet!!! Services: Air conditioning, Oil change, Air & cabin filter replacement

I had a great experience from beginning to end. I was so surprised at how kind, friendly, and helpful every single employee I interacted with was. I don’t know much about cars but Robert was very patient and explained the service in a way that I would understand. I also was helped by Kevin, Jeremy, and the manager Jorge.They also checked my tire pressure, lights, AND wipers! Seems it’s standard here but I have not experienced that at another location before! Each one of them made me feel comfortable and at ease with their professionalism and reassuring communication. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! I was told that my battery needed cleaning. The photo on the left shows what it looked like after they said they “ cleaned” my battery. Also, the same day I could NOT START MY CAR! I immediately took my car to another location to have it checked out. Photo on the right shows what my battery looked liked after another placed actually cleaned my battery. The other place had to tighten up parts so my car would start again.
