I've been going to Mad River Music since they opened in 2018. Whether you are looking to purchase an instrument or looking to sell an instrument, I recommend going to Mad River Music. They give great deals on the many quality instruments they offer. And any instrument sold to you is carefully looked over and (if need be) repaired to make sure you get all your money's worth. I've also have been taking guitar lessons from them since 2018. I am always given positive reinforcement, along with great advice. They are patient and know their stuff. They teach adults and children. They are always polite , humble and friendly. They will make you feel like family.

Found a unique second-hand guitar in a random music shop that was going out of business - it was in pretty rough shape. But I took a gamble, bought it, and brought it to Mad River Music to see if they could fix it up at all. It was a gift for my brother's birthday. Frank and Sam worked their magic to restore it to the best possible result for the condition it came to them in. Gifted my 2 grandsons, age 8 and 9, with lessons for Christmas. They look forward to going every week, and leave excited about what they have learned. Both Frank and Sam are gifted musicians, and are not only masters at their craft, but also at building confidence in their students. Their love for music is infectious! Highly recommend!

Frank and Sam are both =EXPERTS= at music and musical instruments. Frank fixed up my guitar when it was buzzing like a drunken bee all over the place. He fixed the action in the neck and made it sound =A GAZILLION= times better =PLUS= he fixed the electronics. To top it off they have ultra cool records, musical instruments and anything anyone could ever want in a music store. They give you a fair price, and they're the greatest at giving everyone (from young to old) the gift of music.

A positive experience with the Owner & the insight extremely Positive .A Nurtured Ability & Skill was more than Apparent. My 9 year old granddaughter is now a new Student for Guitar at Mad River Music.She feels excited to be having lessons & comfortable after meeting Mr. Frank. She went home with homework & Already learned by heart half of what she was given to work on ! I'm proud of her & Very Happy to have found Mad River Music!
