My car kept not wanting to start. My battery wasn't that old so I took it to Oreillys to get a diagnostic. They told me it was not my battery. Suggested that it may be my starter. My car totally died soon after. I took my car to John. I told him what the man at O'reilly's had said. He told me arrogantly that the man wasn't a mechanic...he (John) was. He replaced my battery. After that my car would start but was touchy. Gradually it did the same thing...not wanting to start and again died. I asked a friend if he knew of a reputable, fair mechanic. He referred me to A 2 Z automotive. He looked at my car and after hearing how my car was acting and having a new battery told me it was probably my starter. When I picked my car up he told me that it had been my starter which he replaced. My car has run smooth ever since. I think John has gotten too big for his britches.

If I could rate less than one star I would. Don't take your vehicle here. John used to be a stand up guy and a great mechanic. Not anymore. I've brought two vehicles into his shop on separate occasions and each time something that was perfectly fine when I brought it in would be broken when I came to get my vehicle. Then he would charge me each time to fix something they broke. I will NEVER bring another vehicle to this shop.

So I had my vehicle towed to this auto shop after it broke down on the side of the road. Turned out, the fuel pump had gone bad due to the fact the gauge wasn't reading correctly. In other words, I didn't have as much fuel as I thought so the pump burned up. He fixed the pump the very next morning for a reasonable price. The reason that he gets 5 stars is that when I picked my vehicle up, he showed me that it was actually a manufactures defect and I was able to get reimbursed every penny from Nissan. I'll do business with again in the future if I need it and would recommend for sure.

Great Guy's, great work, good prices. We were on vacation, in a bind and John took care of me like I was his brother. I highly recommened G&J for repairs.
