I left a watch with him to fix. I paid a deposit of 250.00 dollars. I had a family emergency and had to leave the country for several months. I lost the piece of paper. They cannot find my watch or the paper work to show that it was there. He keeps telling to bring in the paper. I have traveled 20000 miles, stayed in 3 houses and 20+ hotels since I dropped the watch off. He has a copy of the paper work and my credit card receipt for the deposit. Yet, still he demands I bring him the paper.

He wanted to charge too much to repair my Ridgeway grandfather clock. I had another expert do it for 1/3 the cost. I'm not saying Alberto's is dishonest. What I'm saying is to be sure and shop around.

Wow! Took my vintage watch and clock in for repair. I was amazed to see an 80+ year old artisan hard at work fixing all kinds of time pieces! Although parts were hard to come by, Alberto found them and repaired both items that belonged to my Grandmother. In today's crazy world it was refreshing to find this gem of a business in Fort Lauderdale. Incredible family that truly works together!

Best watch repair I've ever been to. Very friendly, fast and courteous. I needed a small tweek on my watch band, Alberto fixed it in less than a few minutes and wouldn't let me pay. Very excellent customer service. Easy to get in and out of the plaza. Very happy with them!

Read all of the bad reviews in case this happens to you. I had the worst customer service experience with the owner and owner’s daughter. I brought in 2 watches to have their batteries changed. One of them, I had tried to change it myself unsuccessfully. On my way back to my car after picking them up, I noticed scratches on the back and the bands. One watch was significantly more scratched than the other. I know for absolute certain that the most scratched watch was not that way when I brought it in. The other I will give the benefit of the doubt that it could have already been that way before when I tried changing the battery myself. THIS IS WHERE IT ALL WENT SOUTH. I understand scratches are a hazard that come with the job. I went back to the shop to ask them if they could please buff both battery covers a bit. I couldn’t even finish the question. They heard the word “scratches” and the tone went from welcoming to hostile. The owner’s daughter got extremely defensive. She began raising her voice, speaking over me and berating me and that’s when Alberto stepped out of his office and began berating me as well. He vehemently denied that he did those scratches and that if he had he would’ve buffed them out. He kept repeating that he has over 50 years experience and wouldn’t do such a thing. They began to name drop, how they’ve worked on Rolex and Cartier as if the two Michael Kors watches I brought weren’t worthy of his work. Alberto actually threw one of my watches on the counter after buffing out the scratches, walked back to his office berating me along the way and yelling I wasn’t welcome there and to never come back. During this whole interaction, there was another customer IN THE SHOP. I’m concluding based on my experience and that of other dissatisfied customers that they’re very nice when you love their work but the moment you might not be satisfied with the end result they take it as a personal insult. If you want to take the risk of visiting this shop, I suggest you photograph your items prior to leaving them with Alberto, as he makes no mistakes. In Alberto’s shop, the customer is always wrong.

Alberto was busy when we got there, he put aside what he was working on and fixed 3 watches in no time, and at reasonably price, one needed a battery and two were not keeping time. Found this place on Yelp for watch battery replacement. I brought in three unique high-end watches. I wasn't sure if they would have the batteries for these watches. They promptly took the watches and replaced each battery within 1/2 an hour. Amazing! They are extremely courteous and very pleasant. Fantastic work and pleasure with whom to do business. They do ALL watch and clock repair. I very highly recommend this business.
