We came across this place that welcomed our party of 8 during the dinner rush after our reservation was lost at another place...we were welcomed with friendly smiles and staff who quickly accommodated us and our four children. Good conversation, good service and a mutual love and passion for good food, this is how every restaurant should be! Which brings me to the best part, the food!!!! The food.... I'm not finding the most eloquent of words because I had too much of the delicious wine! We had pears wrapped in bacon, octopus, and cauliflower to start. My husband had a branzino in lemon sauce that surely is what heaven tastes like. Our party was thrilled with how good everything was, from the homemade pasta to the fresh sauce and bread. We can't wait to go back. Save room for dessert, the pistachio cheesecake was amazing. Finally, I can't say enough how good this place is for our youngest foodies, our kids! They were catered to 100000% and enjoyed every detail, from the welcome, to the coloring, to the specialized bambino appetizer and even curated dessert. What an experience to teach our kids the value of food and family!

Went yesterday at 5:00. I’ve been quite a few times before covid but don’t live close to the restaurant. I was in the area with my husband and he has heard me play up their food so he was excited to be able to try it. We walked in. Tables were all set and 3 women were at the very back table eating (not customers). We literally walked in smiling and we’re greeted with a woman with a full mouth of food loudly saying “kitchen’s closed). She dismissed us and went back to eating. Couldn’t believe she didn’t stand up or at the very least, politely say I’m sorry the kitchen is closed. Don’t see eating there in my future.

The shop is wonderful. The wine choices are great. The restaurant side is also good. It's expensive but it's pretty good. I'd go with the staples and skip most of the specials. They are such nice people. We will go back. It's just so enjoyable. These small family businesses deserve our support.

I've now gone twice. The first time was really good. The owner was there and made a dinner dish for one our companions because it was why he came there. Owner is very personable. Second time the owner was not visibly there. Service was slow and poor at best. Had to ask for things two and three times, portions are very small. The gravy/sauce was sparse. We had to ask for the check three times and took almost as long as the lunch did.

Outstanding!! My wife and I have been many times over the years, very personal experience. This is the opposite of an Olive Garden, slow down, pick a bottle of wine, enjoy your date night, taste some amazing home made food. Place is clean, great food, all homemade.

IL Paesano is a spectacular dining experience. Don't let the casual storefront fool you. Once inside, you will be delighted with the authentic "Italian deli" and the wine selection on glorious display. Can't decide? Ask the owners! Vergil, Paola are excited to tell you what wine will pair well with your menu choice. Ask for a taste. They truly want you to be satisfied and they want you to come back. Check it out.

The first time I came with my best friend it was completely booked, in our second attempt we got there slightly earlier. The chances of you getting a table after 7:30pm is slim considering the closing time is 8:30. We immediately got seated. The picture without food is where someone will be to sit you down. There is a wine area, where you can pick a bottle , if you are unsure they are more than happy to give you a wine suggestion. We went with a nice red table wine that pairs well with everything in the menu. I don’t remember the names of our dishes, but I know the appetizer we chose had cauliflower with garlic, and it was surprisingly delicious. I’m not a big cauliflower fan until I tried the appetizer and now I want to make it at home. The table bread was fresh, the outer layer was crispy while the inside was soft and they added a touch of olive oil. My best friend got a vegetarian mushroom entree and it tasted damn good! I was shocked. I on the other hand had pork with pasta. The pork was juicy, tender and very soft. When I took a bite it felt like I was in paradise especially when paired with the wine. The customer service was outstanding, every single one of our questions were answered. Extremely kind and attentive. Next time I will bring my boyfriend! Prices are on the higher end but it’s worth it. You will not regret coming. There’s a reason they have a high rating.

For dinner there is lots of free easy parking. We got a seat right away. It's a grocery store with a cafe style restaurant in it. Very nice place. Friendly and helpful waitress who helped me make a good decision on dinner. We didn't have to wait to long to stay eating. The food was very tasty. I will definitely be back. Good job.
