Rhonda

I take a controlled medication for pain and I have taken this same prescription and the same dosage for years. In May I was finally able to go on a month long trip to Europe that had been on hold since Covid happened. My doctor wrote a prescription for 2 months with the explanation that I needed that much because I would be away when the second script needed to be filled. I was told that they could not fill the script that way. So I went back to the doctor to get a separate script and brought it back. The next pharmacist then said the doctor had to call them. I told the doctor and they called. When I went back and the first pharmacist said I had to have my insurance company call. So I told them I would just pay cash, (it is not an expensive drug) and she said it didn't matter; the insurance company had to call anyway. At that point I seriously thought I was going to lose the chance to go on my dream vacation because these pharmacists were on some power grab. I began crying after the final, "Now the insurance company has to call" assault. (Even if you are not going to use insurance - Seriously?) They finally filled the medication and I am now back from my wonderful vacation. The point I would like to make I am certain that none of this was out of concern for my welfare. Because if they were actually concerned for my welfare they would have called my doctor. But they didn't. They just kept making up new "rules" as they harassed me and sent me on more wild goose chases. They know nothing of my medical history or my medical diagnoses. They are not doctors. They are not nurses or even nurse's assistants. If they are not happy in their jobs they can get different jobs but abusing the customer as a way to make up for their personal unhappiness is immature, petty and very unprofessional.

I have been with this pharmacy for many years and getting prescriptions from CVS back when they were still Eckards. This pharmacy has really gone downhill and I'll be looking for another pharmacy. I've been five days without my long lasting insulin because they cannot seem to fill the prescription correctly. If you call them, don't expect them to answer for at least a half hour. I tried 3 times today and got disconnected after 30 minutes all three times. Their pharmacist has a snarky attitude and could care less about the customer.

As a rule, I find the vast majority of CVS employees to be pleasant and helpful. However, Samantha in the pharmacy is one of the rudest, unprofessional, and inept CVS employees that I have ever met. She needs some serious customer service training. How she still has a job is beyond me!!

I’d like to think I am a very patient person, but after 3 separate trips to and from this CVS, they managed to only fill 1/4 of the prescriptions for my girlfriend. It was stressed on the first two trips that we did not want to transfer the prescription to another store and yet they wouldn’t even take responsibility for their own fault. They kept blaming me and my girlfriend that we did not tell them anything…I did not want to engage in the stress but after the frustration they have dealt this week just go the extra mile to a different CVS.

Went through all the complexity and nonsense of CVS' website to make an appointment for a Moderna booster. I arrived at the proper time walked back to the pharmacy who said they don't carry Moderna. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE , THESE PEOPLE ARE INCOMPETENT.

This is the most helpful, friendliest CVS; & the only one I choose to frequent. The women’s cashiers with glasses are so incredibly helpful & friendly, they always make you feel at home. I assume the other cashiers are great too, just haven’t encountered them as much. Highly recommend!

CVS- Alico Mission Way Fort Myers Please read- I never comment on sites or anywhere normally but I feel like I should show appreciation... I’ve been coming to this CVS for 3/4years now I think . They have been so helpful, understanding, patient, kind, and beyond even a friendly pharmacy you may find. I have been going to pharmacies almost my whole life because of my diagnoses, medications some of which are controlled substances ugh (unfortunately). I have been to every CVS, Walmart, Publix, Walgreens, small independent pharmacy, etc all over over the years and this one by far has gone out to help me calling me, checking on me, taking extra time to my questions, helping me with my mistakes, contacting my doctors, and making sure things are correct for me. They have done things they didn’t even need to or have had time to . I’ve even seen it for other as well when I’m not in the drive through and I’m inside- I’ve watch people ahead of me and watched them. I wish I could remember everyone’s names. I know Jenny the pharmacist has been the “sweetest” most “amazing” once in a lifetime person no matter busy she gets Ive never seen her once get overwhelmed, angry, or frustrated which in reality most people do when multitasking, dealing with mean demanding people, and so much more in a while. I think Juliet is her name I’m not sure ....she has long brown hair she always wears in a ponytail with bangs she is just like Jenny so amazing as well....she also never brushes you off, or makes you feel like just a number. I just can’t say enough about these people and this pharmacy and Iris ( although she’s not in pharmacy but she deserves a raise too LOL)

I walk out without buying what I came for more than I actually spend money there. I have lost count how many times they simply do not carry the things you've come to expect to buy at a local drugstore. I end up at a Walgreens most of the time. They simply don't carry what the competition does in variety and category. It's to the point that if their is a choice I simply don't bother going there anymore because there is an 85% chance I'm gonna end up at Walgreens anyway. Not to mention that they exert undo influence on other private businesses with their distribution arms extortion practices. However that is another complaint that has no bearing on the in store experience.

I shop here quite often and normally 2 to 3 times a week. Tonight I got all my items and brought them to the counter where there was no employee. I waited a few minutes and then decided to walk through the store to find someone. Few aisles back I found the store manager when I asked her if someone could come check me out she told me you know there is self check out up there. I told her that I preferred a person to check me out. You could tell she was visibly upset and continued to push me toward the self check out when I told her no she finally came up and checked me out. I told her I was uncomfortable using the machines because the last time I used one it did not work. Her response to that was I find that hard to believe they work just fine. Horrible customer service from the store manager! That's the last time I go to that CVS pharmacy!!
