After picking up a car at the Avis at Fort Lauderdale Airport, I noticed that there were issues with the brakes and did not feel safe driving it. I notified their customer service and was advised to take it to a nearby Avis where I was staying, which was this one. Big mistake! There was only one person there who was rude and condescending. He advised he had to save the cars he had and the safety of this vehicle was not his problem. After pressing, he sent me to Pep Boys because they have an account there. However, the pep boys was unable to help because I did not work for Avis. I ended up having to drive an unsafe vehicle 30 minutes away because of this.

Spoke with Dan......I have been a renter for the past year and his service was awful. He got one star for answering the phone. Surprised he did. Do not rent from here! Absolutely the worst. Came back to say it gets worse.....I can't tell you how awful this company is. Do not do it!!!!!?

Dropped the car off. CS told me I need to fill up the car full tank or else I will have to pay $10/gal. I told CS I have corporate discount and fuel should only cost half of that. He proceeded to charge me full rate. I had to call Avis and they managed to reverse the charges. Like most Avis offsite locations, the customer service is below standard.

Stay away!! Very Unprofessional, extremely Rude!! Rented a premium car online for pick-up because I was in an accident and can't get into my suv due to injury. My husband arrived, only to be told there was no car returned and they were closing, come back tomorrow. He returned the next morning after calling in advance to find NO CAR!! The jerk had the nerve to say it was a miscommunication and offered an SUV~! I own an SUV and we needed car! No attempt to help and to top things off he didn't refund my prepay! Complete lack of empathy. Jupiter people BEWARE!

Avis is a nightmare. Online there’s No information about evening drop off of car. Seems to be only at airports. Website says call your local AVIS but that doesn’t work either.

The gentleman at the centre was fine and polite. The car given to me was in good condition. However, AVIS customer service was a nightmare. Most outlets don't have after hour returns and I was given wrong instructions on phone when I called customer service with regards to my drop-off location. Highly unprofessional customer service staff who are impertinent and curt. I have never been bullied by a car rental company. They literally yell at you on phone. I have rented dozens of times from Enterprise, U-Haul, Hertz and never had this bad an experience.

Avoid Avis in Jupiter/Tequesta! I showed up to rent a car which I had a reservation. The Avis rep answered the door telling me they were closed and he wouldn’t help. No call, No email telling me to show up earlier since my reservation booked by Avis after they closed. Adding insult to injury, this Avis rep refusing to help, when the error was clearly on the part of Avis, speak volumes to their lack of customer service. FYI, Enterprise rental is just south of this location, so don’t bother with Avis Jupiter/Tequesta.

Renting cars is usually a pain in the butt! My experience with Avis was incredible they had the truck ready then I wanted and needed when I walked in all I had to do was give him my driver's license sign the paper and out the door I went! Definitely five stars all around customer service is very clean the cars were super clean I thank you very much for the great experience!

They have taken me in last minute after the Enterprise on Tony Penna screwed me multiple times. They are always accommodating & very quick and have even let me keep my Jeep at the location when needed. They are not necessarily "conveniently located" but they makeup for it thanks to how much quicker and reliable they are when compared to the Enterprise on Tony Penna. I am so thankful I have an alternative. Maria was a lifesaver during my last experience so I brought them in a dozen, well-deserved bagels. One tip: owner should update the printer! It reminds me of the 80's-90's.

Absolutely terrible. I reserved a car 2 days in advance AND prepaid for it. I showed up 15 minutes early to my scheduled appointment and was told there weren't any cars. I had already dropped off my car for service so I literally had no options AND I was scheduled to go or of town, which was why I was renting a car to begin with. The counter "help" would do nothing but say it wasn't their fault and I had to call customer service. When I called customer service, I was sure to tell them that this location needs to be looked into. I will never rent from here again. If you need to have certainty that there will be a car available and you have no back - up options, do not rent from here. Terrible.
