I had the best service from Cheryl at the front desk. She is the sweetest human being you can meet. I did read all the negative reviews here, you folks should understand that there is staff shortages EVERYWHERE so plan your shipping days ahead of your desired arrival date.

The people at the desk are very friendly and very helpful. Far as management goes this is the worst managed post office I have ever seen in my 71 years. I've always had a pleasant experience at any other post office in California Florida and other states. Miramar beach is absolutely the most unorganized postal service I have ever seen. Package is laying around the back room for weeks before being delivered. Mail is sporadically forwarded and many times to the wrong address. Forget about phone contact unless you are an employee of the postal service. This post office will not answer the phone irregardless of the time you call and how many times you call. Sometimes your mail will be returned to you with the exact correct address that you put on the envelope. All the post offices I have used throughout my life care about their customers this one absolutely could care less

Stopped in to get some stamps back in November . The supervisor named David was so busy chasing some camera guys around the parking lot he didn’t realize I had to stand in a three person line for twenty minutes. Place is really ran poorly and could use a lawn service.

What a dump, post office and grounds have a General rundown and poor condition to them. Incorrect signage everywhere unmowed grass broken doors raggedy signage place just looks like a dump. Postmaster and managers are buffoons

I had two items tracked delivered on 1.19.21. It is the 23rd and I have yet to receive them. I have tried calling and looking to contact the post master of the branch. I have received no key for package pick up nor notification of a package. These are time sensitive materials.

Needed postcard stamps. Hurried over. Walked right in. Got in line while they were talking to a woman ahead of me. The employee then looked at me and told me they closed at 4:30. My watch said 4:31. I then realized the woman in front of me was convincing them to help her. Seems odd that the building was wide open—no sign of closing. Only three of us there and we all just needed stamps. I can imagine they have a tough job with lots of grumpy customers and long days. Government job—I get it. But this seemed really inconsiderate.

It's so very slow with a line outside the door before covid. Constantly making errors on addresses. Sending mail to wrong places and delivering to wrong person. I have to take mail back to them after they delivered it to me wrong and I give it to the Manager and they give it to the carriers who returns it to me wrong again. This is the Worst post office in the Panhandle. It took a regular envelope 1 month to go from Miramar Beach post office to Odenton Maryland. Doesn't make since. I now use UPS store gets there in 2 or 3 days. John the front cashier is the only one who knows his job.

I have owned one block from the Miramar Beach Post Office for over 20 years. Every couple of years I get a VACANT card from the post office. I have spoken with the postmaster several times and yet yesterday I received another VACANT card. Just because I may not pick up my mail in a timely manner, you should not assume I am not living here. Especially during Covid-19 we have stayed isolated because the beach has been so crowded. It's ashame that our postal service has become subpar with their customer service.

Worst. Neighbor. Ever. We stayed at the Destin RV resort for a few days, which is located right next door to this property. I understand that they need to have trucks in and out for mail and package delivery. However, EVERY morning it has been something noisy and unnecessary. Most mornings it is the backup beep of trucks. For HOURS!!!! (Same truck, just sitting there beeping, not many different ones) Not the truck in the picture has been sitting there idling for at LEAST an hour this morning. ENTIRE vacant lot, but this truck has to park right next to the park so we can all wake up. Inconsiderate to say the least.
