I know they recently had some kind of issue that required pretty heavy police response and ever since then they dont take cards of any kind only cash. I don't understand this and I hope they recognize how difficult this makes things for many in the community. Many of us rely on this store to get groceries and necessities like dkg food. I have no vehicle and no ride anywhere so not being able to purchase these items from here with my card is a huge inconvenience and even farther very difficult. I hope they fix that soon

My goodness, I am here now and in the last 5 minutes I have seen 6 different shoplifters stuffing their loot in pants, socks, jackets, book bags, etc. 🤬🤬🤬 My neighborhood store on Cervantes St. will raise their prices and this is sooo not fair!! And they stop in front of my house and empty their stolen goods into their Dollar General bag 😳😠😡😱

A friendly store. Cashier was nice. They had cute little Halloween decorations for the kids all for one to two dollars. I bought two spiderweb bowls, four bags of candy, and some cute decorations to go around it for super cheap.

This store never has grocery carts. I know it is not their fault people steal the carts. They could put security sensors on the carts like a lot of other Dollar General stores do. This store is always crowed with stick that is being put out. Some of the stock is on carts that block the aisles. The stock may be ing The same aisle for hours. There is usually only one cashier at a time working. They are trying to put away stock and wait on customers. I would avoid this Dollar General if possible

I went April 7th in the early afternoon and had a middle aged cashier (don't remember his name) that was a very pleasant guy and I appreciated his timely checkout and friendliness.

The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Keep in mind that this is dollar general, not dollar tree. Dollar tree actually has everything for a dollar. Dollar general had a one dollar isle. Everything else could be had cheaper at a full size supermarket or grocery store. Given that I'm on foot I have to take into account hand carrying and distance and this is less than half the distance to the nearest full grocery.

However I met a man who received my money at the register with the most positive outlook . I can’t remember his name but he was so grateful and thankful and happy, and that really inspired me and blessed me because I know he isn’t making Thousands a month, and probably is barely making ends meet even if he is full time... so I was greatly encouraged and moved by his demeanor.
