Had a bad experience getting engine oil changed. First time i called their front desk i was told there is no need of appointment but when I reached there, front desk lady told me that they are all booked and can not provide the service. Second time i booked an appointment and lady on the front desk told me to wait for 4 hrs as their technicians were having lunch break. Still wondering why they gave appointment for their lunch time. So i had to return back without getting oil changed. Didn't have time wait that long for oil change. I did not give up and went there third time with appointment. This time same front desk lady told me that I had to wait for 3 hours and prices were 20% up compared to prices quoted in my second visit. So finally i decide to give up on my longing to get oil changed at Pep Boys.

I received excellent service this morning at Pep Boys. Although there was only one technician working the manager took the time out to service my car himself which got me In and out in a timely manner. Greatly appreciated. This place never disappoints and my car is running great!

I brought my work truck in with a nail in the tire looking for it to get fixed. I dropped it off an 10 in the morning and picked it up at 5 in the afternoon. Two days later the light for my tire pressure went off. After checking my tire foud that the nail was till in the tire and nothing had been fixed. When I called they just said bring it back we will take care of it. No thanks I will just cut my losses and go elsewhere.

Even though there was only one mechanic because several of the personnel were absent that day, the service manager made an effort to find time to have my car serviced. The gentlemen there were very polite and respectful, and I appreciated the excellent service I received!! My faith is restored in Pep Boys!!

This is the worst Pep Boys Branch and might be the worst car shop in Broward. This site committed fraud. I took my car for right-front tire repair due to a nail. I dropped it off at 8: 45am and went to pick it up at 2:30 pm without receiving a phone call that it was done. "Joel " or the front guy said it was done and fixed but couldn't find my keys, and it took them 15 minutes to find it. This should have been a clue to the disorganization at this service center. (unfortunately, the manager was out sick) The repair was crucial because I had a long drive the next day. Then, I started losing air. I'd come to realize that the repair was not done. The nail in the Rt front/side tire was still there. I took it back to Pep Boys, and they denied this oversight and said it was repaired. Joel's excuse was his mechanic might have repaired the wrong tire, and I asked him to show me where or which tire ended up repaired? He could not tell me which tire was repaired. He could not defend his statement. He said he didn't charge me, but why did he say the repair was done? (this is a National Fleet Car I don't see the receipt so repair cost is inconsequential to me, but fabrication of the fact is.) Is he backing out of the fraudulent activity? or did he not know it wasn't repaired. In either case, it was his responsibility to ensure that the work was done, particularly when it comes to tires. This is the biggest safety issue in an automobile. The more he talked, the more he admitted his incompetence. A Cop was called with the hope that I could file a report of fraud, but this was a civil complaint, according to the cop. Most cops won't file a report when it is a civil crime, I am told by a cop friend. A cop said that I should file a lawsuit or complaint to the corporate office for potentially endangering the life of their customer by providing a false statement and potentially endangering the safety of their customers and other drivers on the road. I could have blown a tire and cause an accident, for which Pep Boys could be held responsible for negligence. So, I took it to the Tire Kingdom, and they said my tire required a placement because the nail was or near the sidewall. This could have been a tire sale for them. At Pep Boys, the assistant manager or front person was rude and unprofessional and lacking attention to the details, and grossly and unlawfully incompetent. The fascinating part was that these tires were purchased at this Pep Boys. Part of it was my fault for not checking their work and to see if the tire was replaced. I just blindly trusted that the repair was done. Not again! I will never go to Pep Boys again particularly if I have many options. Please double-check their work. I understand short staff, but please don't fabricate work that is not done. It is unsafe.

I get here and they say 1.5 hrs to 2 because they were stuck with the appt before me. Ok I completely understand. I went and did a few errands I come back.... 2 hours later and they didn't even start on my car yet. I only need a tire change that I ordered ahead of time and scheduled an appt for. This is beyond unacceptable.
