I have to agree, this is a bad Circle K. Customer service does not exist. Watch out for price gouging, the price at the pump can be different then what's on the sign.

This is the worst circle K I have ever been to. They are listed as being open 24 hours. However when I stopped at this store the doors were locked. So I called the store & the employee told me he couldn't let anyone in the store until another employee got there. He had no idea when this other employee would arrive. All I wanted was a polar pop, & I am in the "sip & save program" so this sale could have been done with the employee only handing me the drink. Still he refused & offered no advice. During this time three other cars had parked & attempted to enter the store, only to find the doors locked. If I could give zero stars I would, the customer service is a disgrace & the employee is very disrespectful!

On 7 September 2020 at 5:00 am, I visited the Barton Circle K. The #2 pump could not read my credit card. I entered the store to inquire if there was something wrong with the card reader on pump #2 specifically, or if all of the pumps had the same problem. This quickly escalated into an unnecessary argument with the clerk. I have had unpleasant experiences with this clerk in the past as well. I'm a reasonable person, but eventually I reached my limit and asked the employee to leave me alone and back off. At that point he stated (paraphrasing) that his family owned the circle K and that since I use profanity, I must leave the store. He then told me he was calling the police to have me trespassed. In other words, he was going to call the police in order to deliberately make a false statement (threat of bodily harm, criminal disorderly conduct, etc). As I was leaving, he stated that I was harassing him. This was a lie and did not make any sense. Your video surveillance data will confirm that I did not menace, harass or intimidate your staff and that I was not engaged in criminal disorderly conduct. As I do not trust this employee, I would advise management to review security footage. Due to the legitimate concern that this employee may use false statements to have me arrested at your store, I will not be returning. The above summarizes the incident occurring 7 September 2020. Below I will describe events that occurred BEFORE 7 September 2020, going back several months. This involves the same employee. Essentially, when other staff were not around to monitor him, he would ask inappropriate personal questions and attempt to engage in conversations about politics and conspiracy theories. For example, he made deliberately antagonistic statements calling into question the citizenship and academic fitness of the former 44th US President and made statements implying that the pandemic is a hoax. Whether these were his opinions or he was merely pretending they were his opinions to provoke a response is irrelevant. These discussions are inappropriate for the workplace. As you know, it is not good work policy for an employee to antagonize random patrons for amusement, especially when a store is located in a neighborhood with some degree of criminal activity. Additional training for this employee is strongly advised.
