The worst CVS in highlands county! The pharmacists are stuck with a bunch of rude & obnoxious staff members. They move slow as snails & their customer service etiquette is slim to none. The staff rarely answers the phones. I stood on line & called purposely and watched one of the workers look over at the phone without answering. Their attitudes are disgusting. If my insurance covered elsewhere thats where i would go.

If I could give zero stars I would because 1 star is being much too generous. The absolute worst CVS pharmacy I have ever visited. When living in Bradenton, went to a local CVS dozens of times with no issues. Had covid test scheduled and was literally in line for an hour, mind you, 45 mins at the window alone with no one in sight. Finally someone appeared and said they couldn't run my insurance which was fine (I called my insurance to confirm). So basically wasted my entire lunch hour for nothing. The worst experience at a CVS I've ever had. They seriously need to hire some people who know what they're doing and can move cars faster than one per hour. Poorly managed, poorly run. Save yourself grief and go to Walgreen's.

The absolute worst cvs pharmacy I have ever run across. My prescription was called in 7 days ago on their voice by the doctor, they never checked it. Can’t get anyone to ANSWER, and when they do they hang up on you! Had the doctor call twice after that still no filled prescription because they don’t do their job and answer the phone or check the damn voicemail, not even for the doctors!! Management needs to fire the lady that eventually answers and hangs up on you after calling over and over! Terrible customer service!! It’s flat out ridiculous. Wish I could give no stars, not even worthy of 1 . CVS do better!!!!!!!

An overweight, African American woman in the pharmacy would not allow me to get the Covid booster vaccine. She stated they were only accepting appointments which is ridiculous for a government who pays pharmacy’s to make sure people are being vaccinated. They have no care to ensure public safety and provide the vaccines for walk in customers. This lady is extremely unprofessional every time I come to the pharmacy. She is extremely disrespectful, rude and aggressive. She needs to be terminated.

They are way too busy there. They don't take the time to listen to anyone because they are inundated with prescriptions, phone calls, etc. I blame corporate. The first person told my nurse no prior auth needed. I find out 24hrs later after Dr office closed that prior auth was needed. 24 hrs later my insurance states prior auth takes 24 to 48 hrs. I wait 48hrs and insurance denied. I could have just got Dr to switch meds. I went to pick up other script and stood in line and then had question and told to go to other line for it and same person walked over to discuss my question. Classy! I will never use them again.

Got a phone call today, asked if my name was _____, I said yes. Then was asked my date of birth. I asked who was calling? I was not familiar of the number calling me. She said Jasmine from CVS. I said is this about a prescription for me or something? She promptly hung up the phone. I am concerned that I can be asked personal questions by "Jasmine at CVS" but I cannot ask any before sharing my personal information. So unprofessional!

Not this store in particular, CVS in general - just terrible across the board, walgreens too. In 2021 I had United Healthcare and they forced me to go to CVS. Thats the business model - we suck so bad we will have our own insurance company - "Caremark" that you can only get prescriptions from CVS so you have no choice no matter how bad they are. Now I have Cigna and I can move to my small town pharmacy that knows me personally. Walgreens, Walmart - all overloaded and just as terrible. I pay more at my mom-n-pop pharmacy, but thats okay - I get service and they do seem to care about their business. You might as well be cattle at CVS

Entered store at 3:10 pm Tuesday February 8/22. Approached front desk where two staff were talking. Female clerk indicated to male clerk that I was there. He turned looked at me turned away and continued his conversation. Did not turn back. The other staff person looked embarrassed. I walked away but could not locate the item I was looking for. I proceeded to leave the store and noticed the clerk and told him he had purposefully ignored me. He made an excuse but nothing else. In my upset state I used a profanity that I apologized for immediately. He however did not apologize. I left the store. In all likelihood I will not shop here again after 22 yrs as a customer.

Two days of dealing with the pharmacy on 5 prescriptions. Only able to pick up 1 so far. Though promised in a couple hours they would be ready twice. 2 trips and 3 lines. Save yourself the extreme frustration and just use Publix.

I requested my prescription to be refilled and a Spanish lady told me I couldnt refill it until December. Now we are in December and my prescription hasn’t been refilled like it usually is and like she said it would be. I called to refill and it says I need authorization from my doctor and my last refill for three months is no longer there and I can’t even go to the doctor because I moved so I am waiting to see the specialist in a a couple months and now have no refills or medication for months because of this pharmacy made me lose it. They did not fill my prescription by 12/3/2021 like they were suppose to and never told me It had to be filled by December 3 or I would lose it. Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible ruining peoples health for their careless mistakes
