Terrible service. They offer no help on trying to find the correct size box, nor do they help with taping the box. She had me purchase a box when boxes are free with priority mail! I will continue to use the small business shipping centers as they are more helpful to their paying customers!

Live in Live at Castle off of 55th Ave , and our mail lady left 5 buildings worth of mail including hospital bills, credit cards, bank statements, the whole nine on TOP OF OUR MAILBOXES!! This was done on a day where it stormed so bad. Tried to reach the post office about my concern and was hung up on twice! I called the fraud department as well. Absolutely RIDICULOUS how they are handling this mail lady as this is not the first time she has left mail on top of our mailboxes. This is a HUGE risk of theft, and a federal crime! It needs to BE HANDLED!

I sent a package from South Carolina to my niece in Silver Springs. She has a very similar address to another resident in her neighborhood. Unfortunately, the substitute mail carrier delivered the package to a parcel locker and put the key in the incorrect mailbox. When I called the Silver Springs Post Office this morning, I spoke with the Acting Postmaster Kathy. She was very helpful and apologetic. While I was on the phone she reached out to the regular mail carrier who was back on her route today. Felecia immediately took action, found the package, and put the locker key in the correct mailbox! Kathy called me back and made me a very happy satisfied customer. Mistakes happen and the problem was solved with professionalism and extreme courtesy. Thank you for renewing my faith in human kindness and taking responsibility without excuses. A rare occurrence in todays world. You rock!

It seems like the post master would work on resolving the issue of streets that have two names in Silver Springs. This has been a problem for years because the GPS networks Labeled some streets different from the postal service. If a company uses the GPS address the post office will not deliver the parcel. It seems that nobody wants to try to resolve this.

The best post office in Marion county. Out of the way and always a short wait by attentive staff who treat everyone well. Not like the bigger post offices that have long lines out the door and one person working. :/ Love my little PO!

Very disappointed in my interaction with the lady over the phone. My package was marked un-able to be delivered and was not given any type of help from the other line.

Idk why there are so many bad reviews here? I love this adorable little post office! Everyone I've come across there thus far has been kind and helpful, even though sometimes a person could look grumpy (as we have all been there, right people? Not every single work day is going to be full of perkiness even though we would like it to be), they were professional with good customer service. Thank you little post office and it's employees. New to the area I went to this post office to pick my keys up the Levite lady that’s working the front day 9/7/22 I very unprofessional and rude I told her I a package that had been sitting in the mailbox since 8/26 when I opened the box today remind I just the keys to the box today, the package wasn’t in there so I had to go back to the post office to see was the package there . The lady said to me “u would know if u had a package if u checked your box every day “how would I know if I just moved here and didn’t know if I had a mailing box . She came back and shoved my packages at me . The lady before me she was really pleasant to her all I did was explain and ask was the package there. She definitely needs to be in the back and not in front because I really kept my cool today but when I go back I will speak to a manager! Oh the black guy is really nice and hopeful !

Do not mail your bill payments from this location! Last month alone they did not deliver 5 of my bill payments across the country. We complained to the Post Master without resolution. You are forced to track each of your payments to avoid late charges. Canceled check cost $25 each. Never had this problem in all 10 houses we have owned from CA to NY. It's sad that we cannot depend on them to deliver a $.55 stamped envelope correctly addressed.

I have no idea what some of these reviewers with bad attitudes are talking about. I have used this post office since 1980 and never once did I experience any of the things that a few of these people talk about. This post office is run very well, staff are professional, and the clerks have always been pleasant to deal with. Never wait more than a couple of minutes and the clerks are helpful if and when I need their assistance.
