Sadly, this location has gone completely downhill. The pharmacy staff are completely unhelpful. Checkout pharmacy prices at Walmart, Costco, and Publix instead.

Came to leave a review after my experience and was not surprised to see the amount of negative reviews. I was forced to switch to Walgreens after an insurance change at work would no longer partner with CVS so I came here. I regularly have issues with getting my prescription filled with them being out of stock, having the product on back order, being told it'll be ready on a certain day and showing up and it's not, to even having the online portal say it's ready for pick up and driving up to get it and being told it's not available. After moving to Suwanee, GA I've had issues with my doctor not writing my prescription to my new local pharmacy and have been having to drive to pick it up which is pretty annoying. I then have them suggest that there's new rules saying my doctor, my address, and my pharmacy have to be in the same city to get my prescription filled which is nonsense because I'd had this filled for over a decade where these 3 things have never matched. When I ask about that and say it doesn't make sense I think am told that I fit the pattern of drug seeking behavior because I'm driving from one city to another and my doctor is in another city and that's what people do. When I say this is ridiculous that I've moved which is a natural life event and I have no control over where my doctor office sends the prescription to be written and where that doctor might live I'm then again told that the pharmacist has the right to refuse prescriptions and suggesting that there's multiple doctors in my area that I can see to get this written from. So I'm to now go abandon my years long patient doctor relationship and hope there's one in my city and the pharmacist will help me out by suggesting to the new pharmacy that they fill my prescription whenever my doctor writes it... This is the most absurd and insanely frustrating and inappropriate interaction I've ever had with a pharmacy in my life. I've lived in numerous cities across 2 states and taken the same medication on a regular monthly basis for over a decade and never once had an issue or situation occur like this. This pharmacy is completely unprofessional and a joke. If you have any choice at all, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Believe all the reviews. Avoid at all costs - the staff is rude, unprofessional and they do not care at all. Do yourself a favor and go to the Publix Pharmacy down the street.

Consistent poor experiences with the pharmacy. Longer wait times when compared to the nearby CVS or grocery stores. I called ahead to confirm my daughters prescription and they told me it would be ready in thirty minutes. However they failed to tell me that they would be closed for an hour around that time and that I would be unable to pick up. I have better luck at the CVS or Kroger.

Easily the worst pharmacy I've ever endured. Horrible service. I went to pick up a prescription at the drive-through window and it took 25 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. I went there today to get a passport photo taken and was told, "sorry, we're out of passport paper." They also are regularly out of stock of standard over the counter medicines. The CVS down the road has better service, as does Publix.

The staff in the pharmacy are rude. The service is very very slow. I cannot get calls answered even after waiting for an hour. Short staffed? i.e. the Dahlonega Walgreens is friendly and efficient. I will be transferring my RXs asap. The staff needs to communicate with their customers.

Scheduled a biometrics screening @ Labcorp for insurance thru my job. I set an appointment on a Friday afternoon a month in advance to make sure I could get off from work for it. Arrived for my appointment only for the tech to tell me they have to do these screenings in the morning because my blood sugar/blood pressure might be off and it would make my premium more expensive. I told her that was fine bc I had not eaten/drank anything all day and I would be willing to take my chances since I’m missing work. She then says she has to call her boss to get approval to do the screening since they were not in the store at the time. At this point I’m a bit irritated so I told her I would just reschedule for the weekend since I do not have the luxury of PTO. She says they are only open Monday-Friday and you don’t need an appointment but there were clinics open on the weekends in Duluth and Marietta 30-40 mins away. I’m not annoyed with the experience itself but more so at the fact that this could have been avoided with a phone call.

I'm a medical provider and have never left a review for any other pharmacy. I attempted to call in a prescription for a patient, and was on hold for 45min. Never have I waited that long to call in a medication, and that was the Dr. line. I can't imagine how long customers have to wait, if they make Dr.s wait so long. They either need more staff, or a better phone system because that was just ridiculous.

Waited 30 minutes to drop off prescription for a scheduled surgery (within two days). Received a text stating my prescription was delayed due a delay with the insurance company. Contacted the insurance company and was told they entered in the request incorrectly, instead of entering 3 pills for 6 days, 6 pills for 7 days was entered. Contacted them via phone, after being placed on hold for 30 minutes the call dropped. I then contacted them via chat (using the link provided in the text). After explaining the situation, I was told this could not be handled via chat. Contacted them by phone, again, waited 30+ minutes, to no avail. I gave up, planning to drive to the location. If that doesn't work, I'll try a different pharmacy.

Absolute incompetence by the pharmacy. We arrived 20 minutes before our scheduled appointment to get my 12-yr old daughter the COVID vaccine. We couldn't even get checked in after 25 minutes. The clerk was unable to check in the woman ahead of us who was also there for a COVID booster because she could not figure out her paperwork. Not only was it very inconvenient, but I began to worry that maybe they would screw up the vaccination itself, which is even more serious. This clerk should be immediately fired and sent back to kindergarten where she belongs. Pharmacist did nothing to help either.
