Unfortunately, my experience was not as great as the reviews I read. The reviews led me to Smart Financial & Tax Services today. The door was locked but the business hours on Google showed they were open. An older lady opened the door and asked if I was trying to get my taxes done. I told her yes and she said to me "He's not doing any taxes today. But maybe he could file you an extension." I did appreciate her polite tone and told her I didn't want an extension and thanked her. She asked me if I was a returning client. I didn't understand how that made a difference but she said that maybe he could talk to me if I just waited. There was no reason for me to wait to talk with the person she was referring to if he wasn't seeing new clients or doing any taxes on this date. She was polite, I appreciated that. I gave a 1 star because I have never been to a place that does taxes that chooses certain dates to do them. I'm not from here so, hopefully no one else has an experience like mine if you are new and just trying to find a good rated tax service in Decatur, GA.

Our tax filing experience has been great here. Mr Christopher puts you right at ease. He is very professional, very knowledgeable, and customer service is top notch. We had some issues with our taxes filing with a different tax office and Mr Christopher cleared it right up for us. Been going there since 2010 and wouldn't imagine going to other places. We live more than a 100 miles away and still drive here just to file our taxes.

Once again, for the third year in a row, we have received the best service from Jehani Christopher ( J'Christopher ) at Smart Financial. He has a warm and welcoming personality and if you are nervous around tax time, he puts your mind right at ease. He is knowledgable, easy to follow as he prepares your taxes, and explains everything so you have no questions unanswered. My husband and I actually look forward to tax time since we feel like we are visiting a friend when we are with J'Christopher. Another great thing is that his fee is the most reasonable compared to two other facilities we have gone to through the years. You will not find any better service than with "J" at Smart Financial.
