Ms. Barbara at Emory alliance was amazing.. From start to finish. I applied for personal loan mid afternoon and by the following morning I was approved. She responded to me instantly via email. Informed me of the documents I needed to complete the process and in no time I had the documents emailed to me to sign. Easy as 1-2-3..

I hate leaving this review. I really wanted this service to work out. I went to Emory. Both my father and husband worked at Emory, so I felt a sense of loyalty- but be clear: This place has NO sense of customer loyalty. The first year I dealt with the 3+ times they had to send me a new card because my information was compromised- but I didn't want to go to a bank, so I stayed. Yesterday I closed my account, because I had to spend too many hours over the past 6 years trying to get fees cleared when an unauthorized charge tried to access my account. Keep in mind, EACU did not give out any money to anyone asking for these charges- but they charged ME $35 for every unauthorized charge. They have a very nice way of telling you all the reasons why, and that every other bank will do the same. Well, I'll go hear it from someone else, then. I'm tired of paying to being shown exactly how little my patronage means to you.

This was my first time getting financed ahead of time through a credit union for a car loan. I had no idea what I was doing but Marlene guided me every step of the way. She was always very responsive and answered all of my questions without being condescending. I really appreciate all of her help from start to finish!

This 5 Star review is for Barbara Wynn at Emory Alliance on North Decatur/Clairmont. There will be certain individuals at this location that will attempt to give you a difficult time... Barbara is NOT one of them. She is exceptional and cares about each client that come to her. My wife and I have made 3 car related transactions with Barbara (buying/selling/refinance) and she made the process seamless despite the push back from other representatives at this location. As long as Barbara is at this location, we continue to be members. Thank you Barbara Wynn!

I have been a member of Emory Alliance Credit Union since 2008 and am very disappointed with the level of service received. I do understand that the credit union has policies that they adhere to, however, my understanding is that they are also in place to assist members when needed. We are not merely figures or credit scores on paper; however, I was treated as such. No one was aware of what has happened to me since 2017, including the death of both parents, and no one bothered to ask nor did they care. Up until 2017 I had an excellent financial record. When I called to inquire about any type of assistance including with an unauthorized charge on my account that caused a domino effect, I was given scripted answers by a person who was clearly uninterested, and told that I could leave my name and number and someone would call back. When I asked for the name of someone over the Credit Union who I could write to about my experiences, that information never came. Often it's hard to get in touch with them and they were closed on Wednesday when I had an emergency situation. I see this as most other institutions who are concerned with profit only and not members.
