While there is sometimes a wait due to demand, the staffing shortage that every industry is going through and the fact that there’s always a rude customer causing a stink, the pharmacy techs and pharmacists have always been kind and efficient. They fill my dogs medication and are always in a good mood when I speak to them. Don’t wait until you are out of medication to refill your meds, it is not the pharmacy techs fault that you did not plan again and now have to wait.

We booked an appointment here for a Covid booster shot, but the pharmacy staff were weirdly hostile when we arrived. My wife was pregnant, and the staff seemed like they did not want to give her the shot even though our OB/Gyn highly recommended it (we had a signed note) and pregnant women were already approved. We got a strong anti-vaccine vibe and decided to leave and go somewhere else. We booked an appointment the same day to get a booster shot at Walgreens, and everything went fine. At least for us, we have decided to avoid Walmart pharmacies in the future and to seek out places with science-based staff.

Edit: staffing has gotten better since I posted the original review. The pharmacy staff is also very caring and diligent. Original review below for transparency. ---- Hope you're patient, this pharmacy is critically and persistently understaffed. Even during peak hours, they often have only a single person working the desk. A line of just a handful of people can take over an hour to get through, and since they don't have separate pick-up and drop-off lines, you'll get to wait again when you go to pick up. Recommend finding another pharmacy.

I have been on hold in curbside pickup for an hour. I have been placed on hold twice each time for over 20 minutes. The tech was apologetic and said she is the only one working.

I have been getting my prescriptions there for many years. The people are friendly and patient. I've only had one problem with a technician in the many years that I have been going there. We became very good friends because of it. I would recommend them to anyone that asks. The service has been consistent, even when they have had new people behind the counter.

Please get more seats for your waiting area and also why is there ONE LINE for pickup AND drop off!? The lines need to be separated! One for pickups and one for drop offs. I shouldn’t have to stand in a long line just to drop off a prescription I just want on file! Ridiculous who came up with that!? I like the technicians but the pharmacist acts like talking to her is a problem. Girl you did all those years in pharmacy school to do just that: listen to me! If you don’t like it, go to a hospital and work in the basement alone, away from people and customers. Can’t be rude with a public job. Someone retrain her on customer service before a customer does.

Called from work for a pediatric patient. The pharmacist was very rude yohun. First she hung up on me . I called back. Once on phone with her for 2nd time she huffed and puffed as if i was bothering her by calling. I asked if i needed to call back she stated we are always ganna be busy. I gave her my patient info she stated patient had never been there before. I then told her patient goes to another Walmart thats close ..can you see his rx? She stated its a process.... after explaining what i needed she did not want me to call in rx. Verbally she wanted me to escript it bc she was very busy. She was very rude and not compassionate. No office or patient should call and be treated in that manner. Very very rude

The thing with closing the pharmacy and NOT dispensing the medications people need is absurd. You force ppl to wait when they need their meds. Here is an idea.....don't close it. Have enough ppl to fill prescriptions while the other is taking lunch. How hard is that to do. You better hope that someone doesn't need to call an ambulance because the pharmacy closed for lunch ( 1:30 pm? Really?) and the person ends up in the hospital all due to one not being able to get their prescriptions when they need them. You need to change your policy immediately. They way you do it now, shows you don't care about the customers. You just care about money. You raised prices on meds greatly. Some meds have increased over 400%. No such thing as a $4 prescription like you claim to have. The one med I take used to be $4, now it's almost $20, an increase of 400%. Lowest prices? Not even close anymore.

Guaranteed to mess up and keep you waiting, but will blame you, your MD, your MD's office. Average of 3 visits to get one prescription filled. Don't waste your time. I have tried to be fair and have given this place many chances being as they are so close to where I live. But no more. They are horrible.
