Make sure you visit Grammas! We had the pleasure of meeting her and she checked on the tables and treated us warmly. Asking where we were from and if we or the food needed anything. This restaurant really will treat you same as the locals Mahalo Grammas for the tasty memories and the wonderful company!

Get the cobbler in the morning. Gramma makes it fresh, and it's delicious. I recommend the French toast as well. It's just the right consistency with a nice hint of guava. Above all else, they probably have the friendliest staff of any restaurant I've been to. Vegetarian options: Da Veggie omelette, french toast, and also pancakes. Parking: Plenty of street parking. It's not a crowded area.

Such a cute little restaurant. Friendly service. Food tasted good too, and the wait wasn't too long. The highlight was when Grandma herself was walking around talking to everyone!

I drive over from Waimea once every couple of weeks (12 miles away) for breakfast at Grandma's kitchen. The place is always clean. The service is always great and the staff is always very friendly.

The loco moco is to die for, full of flavor and the rice is done really well too! Fried chicken is also good, crunchy and flavorful. Proud to represent my hometown Jinan on the world map!

Definitely the best meal I had on big island. Nice staff great food. I ordered the Portuguese plate twice , I prefer vinegar on the side. The pork is very juicy

I didn’t see this one coming but I had the most outstanding breakfast of my life here. The Portuguese-style eggs benedict (it had a name but I forgot what it was. I don’t have a knack for remembering Portuguese). Like, soft pork on a English muffin smothered with perfect eggs and blanketed in this paprika-y homemade hollandaise sauce that Gramma made that morning (she is A GEM). My life will never be the same. Come here. Eat that.

Hands down the BEST fried chicken in the entire world. I would literally come back to the big island JUST to eat at this restaurant and JUST to eat this fried chicken. Amazing. So good. Definitely definitely worth the hype!!! Get itttt!!!!
